G'day! Wiggo and whoever else is around......

Just finished an Estrella, thanks again, Julie for recommending it.

Worked all day on a Laptop for a friend, 10 yr old HP designed for Win XP(2 gig ram 65 gig HD). The owners login account was totally hosed, IE would not start(kept trying to restore previous session/webpage).

I finally had to create a duplicate account and delete the old one. Thanks for suggesting 'Hijack this' Wiggo, it's a very useful tool.

Well time to watch the puck drop, poor Avalanche have to win all 7 games remaining to make the playoffs....."the hope that springs eternal"....

Cheers! and Namaste.

Well those 3 jobs that I picked up coming home from voting on Saturday all turned out to be very quick and simple fixes (even if those people thought that the sky was falling down), each fixed inside of 20mins.

I'm glad that it helped you out DG, it certainly helps me out a lot with the knottier problems. :-)

Now where's that beer that I just poured?

Cheers.

Found a new beer that I REALLY like. :-) La Rossa, it is an Italian beer. I'm going to go to my local Bevmo and see if they have it, or can order it.

I discovered it at a restaurant in Mill Valley. It has a reddish color to it.

Thanks TL I'll give it a try, I love Amber or American Red Ales, and an Amber Malt sounds great.
I try to support the local Micro Breweries and my favorite now is Durango Amber Ale.

http://www.durangobrewing.com/our-beer/

It has a lower IBU (Hoppiness) than most ales and a good malty flavor.

Had a bit of trouble with my rig. Somehow I had some bloatware installed to the hard drive without my permission. Got most of it gone with uninstall. A couple kept hanging around. Finally had to do a system restore to purge those stragglers. Hope it is the last I see of them.

I did a search on Mill Valley and found this picture of a house there. Very nice, Scott!

I often say Australia is #1 on my list to go to, but the Redwoods is in the top 5.

Funny Gordon in the redwoods you can't hear anything. people can be 100 feet away and they are talking but you hear nothing. We have muir woods here and to see those trees is something else.

I had an offer yesterday to go to New Zealand, I'd love to but I don't think I can walk and enjoy the trip. someting I always wanted to do but it's too late for this old boy.

New Zealand would be fantastic, too. Just push me around in a chair. I wouldn't mind ;~)

Those forests in Cali sound great.

Mill Valley

Great pic; but, I don't know where in Mill Valley that house is... The first time I heard Mill Valley mentioned was in MASH. The character BJ is from there.

I've always wanted to go, just to see what it was like. So, my friend from SF and I ventured out across the Golden Gate Bridge, up 101, and got off at the Mill Valley exit. From there, the road winds around quite a bit, passing other towns, and finally dropping you off into downtown Mill Valley.

It is a great place to visit. :-)
