one great thing Wiggo is you can choke the hell one out of the beer bottle,:))

I've got to try and restrain myself a bit today Grant, if I'm allowed to, as I've got to vote in the state election here tomorrow morning and a big night is planned down at the bottom pub with live music playing until very late that night (more likely it'll finish in the wee hours of Sunday morning, hopefully before sunrise). ;-)

*Looks back through the shed and up the driveway, nope, no visitors yet for a change.*

Cheers.

Do they restrict alcohol sales on an election day in Australia?

No they don't Gordon, alcohol sales will likely go up for the day. :-D

No I just want to be there at dawn when the doors open so that I can get it over and done with before the village idiots turn up. ;-)

Cheers.

G'morning to everyone from the highlands down under where the fog banks keep rolling through.

A chilly start here today, 1C and the windchill took that to -2C.

Off to vote soon, after I have another coffee.

Grant, the Mythbusters did a show on that subject some time back and they did it too. ;-)

Gordon, a lot of people will start their voting after 10am so that they can have a de-stressing beverage as soon as they're done.

Cheers.

Well I dodged all those annoying, irritating and wasteful tree killers getting into the polling location (the local public school around the corner), did the paperwork, then picked up 3 jobs for next week on my way out.

Now what to do in the 2hrs before a quick LLB?

Cheers.

G'morning everyone, I hope that you've all had enjoyable weekends (it looks to have been very quiet here the last couple of days).

G'day Grant, yes it was a cool start on Saturday, but it did get up to 25C/77F by midday here.

Hello Julie.

Beer O'clock in 2.5hrs.

Cheers.

G'night Julie.

Well I've been to the P.O. and picked up a couple of parcels and got 1 of those jobs I got on Saturday done (the other 2 will be done tomorrow) and back in time for LLB. :-)

Cheers.

I'm getting that here, too. Grass is starting to get close to needing it's first cutting of the season.

Another 4-6 weeks here and that will see the last mow done until spring returns.

Cheers.

I wouldn't mind so much, but it's not really nice grass. Mostly a hodge-podge of weeds, really.

G'morning everyone from a damp down under.

I can relax for a bit now (if no one turns up during office hours) until I leave to do a couple of house calls this morning, but Beer O'clock maybe a little late today.

Cheers.
