G'day Mike, don't you get a satchel of yeast included with those cans over there? (we do here)..

A satchel of yeast would make a lot of beer! :)

The greater part of Sweden missed Friday's eclipse. "It's too overcast," said SMHI's Mattias Burtu. But you could have seen it Live on TV in the Faeroe Islands and Svalbard where it was 100%.
The time 9:43 on Friday morning began the partial eclipse 80%.
I missed both:(

The photographer Göran Strand, specializing in aerospace photography and the Northern Lights pictures I showed:), is there today in the Faroe Islands, where the eclipse is total.
"Totality! So insane, we got a glimpse the last few seconds. I'm still shaking of excitement." says Göran Strand:)

On Friday, at Beer O'Clock I must deliver this Public Service admonition......

.....especially without headlights during an eclipse!

Americans are showing good taste in greater numbers each year. The Clydesdales aren't as big as they used to be....

Boulder, CO • March 16, 2015—The Brewers Association (BA), the trade association representing small and independent American craft brewers, today released 2014 data on U.S. craft brewing growth. For the first-time ever, craft brewers reached double-digit (11 percent) volume share of the marketplace.

In 2014, craft brewers produced 22.2 million barrels, and saw an 18 percent rise in volume and a 22 percent increase in retail dollar value. Retail dollar value was estimated at $19.6 billion representing 19.3 percent market share.

When I think of Clydesdales, I think of this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6aWzuQ1ufGs

They also had some very pretty Christmas-time commercials.

Americans are showing good taste in greater numbers each year. The Clydesdales aren't as big as they used to be....

At the end of 2013, there were 2,822 breweries in the United States, including 2,768 craft breweries subdivided into 1,237 brewpubs, 1,412 microbreweries and 119 regional craft breweries. In that same year, according to the Beer Institute, the brewing industry employed around 43,000 Americans in brewing and distribution and had a combined economic impact of more than $246 billion. The U.S. state with the highest number of craft breweries per capita is Vermont, with 1 brewery for every 24,067 people.
Wow. That's fantastic:)
Vermont here I come...

Strange most of them are in the colder regions of the USA. Nevermind.

Cheers.

Things grew a little in 2014 Janne,

Additionally, the number of operating breweries in the U.S. in 2014 grew 19 percent, totaling 3,464 breweries, with 3,418 considered craft broken down as follows: 1,871 microbreweries, 1,412 brewpubs and 135 regional craft breweries. Throughout the year, there were 615 new brewery openings and only 46 closings.

Combined with already existing and established breweries and brewpubs, craft brewers provided 115,469 jobs, an increase of almost 5,000 from the previous year.

Cheers!

I knew it! Already in the early 90's, when the economy hit rock bottom here, I was thinking about if I would start a Micro brewery. Or at least a Nano brewery:)

Where I grow up in Stockholm there is now a Micro brewery.

They have these beers and bring back some very fond memories of my childhood in Enskede.

Very much Cheers:)
