That was '76./ This is my gurl just a couple of years ago... Yes, she is MY gurl.......just as Lori is. "I am right here, where I've really always been......." I have many loves................................. "Freedom is just Chaos, with better lighting." Alan Dean Foster |

Could follow up............. Either the man who wrote the song. Mearl Haggard wrote it. Or another pretty ballad by her. Just dunno. This works................ Emmylou from an album back a few years ago. And this goes for the lot of you too.................. "As much as you've burned me, (I should be) Ashes by Now." "Freedom is just Chaos, with better lighting." Alan Dean Foster |

Willie Nelson and Emmylou singing a Haggard song........ And it's about me. Nothing more perfect today and now. An outcast and an outlaw, given one more chance. Tears flow. Pancho and Lefty. If you don't wanna know, don't hit the button. And I suppose it's my story too............ "They only let him get away...............out of kindness, I suppose." "Freedom is just Chaos, with better lighting." Alan Dean Foster |

I suppose being my mom's first made me her favorite. I am the oldest of 4, one is gone. I just visited her last weekend. Hard to describe the look in her eyes when I walk up to the door and she gives me a hug and kiss that could last forever.........and shall. "Freedom is just Chaos, with better lighting." I don't know if I or someone else has posted this link before but this time of year I always think of this one. One of the few instances of the Cellist being a pop music centerpiece.....https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fo-tCNtFI10 Mr John Wallace. "Sour Grapes make a bitter Whine." <(0)> |

Good enough musicians to please themselves and their friends, not good enough to make a livelyhood of it. But as long as they are happy, ..... Donald Infernal Optimist / Submariner, retired |

One I once loved true......... Turned the tables I once owned and made me blue. Sword turned twice, and when it cut I was the one who looked and found the doors that she had shut. For Susan. I saw Dwight perfoming live with her many years ago..... You never knew her, I have not spoken about her. She was an 'in-between' gurl. Meaning in between when Lori and I were in and out of love. She was on a homewrecking path, met her in such a honky tonk. Took a couple of heartbreaking months, and I knew it was sooooooooooooo wrong. If she had not walked, I would not be with Lori now. I told her I loved her, but could not continue the way things were. That was about 12 years ago. But, she was married, and God chose to send her back on the right path. About 6 years ago, in the middle of the night, the phone rang. No, it was not her. It was her husband. He was crying, and thanked me for sending her back home that night long ago. He said that God and their 3 children would one day forgive me, and asked if there was anything he could do for me. I simply said, Just love her as much as I would have. The man actually called to thank me for sending her back home "Freedom is just Chaos, with better lighting." Alan Dean Foster |

I really like that fiddle music, thanks. They have two very good fiddle players. The one who played today is a god-looking woman who has some of the fastest fingers I have seen. Name is Dee Johnson (not related, I think). Wish I could have gotten some video of her. The one who often plays on their tours is Richard Chon, who is also very good. Check out some of the other YouTube videos of the group. Donald Infernal Optimist / Submariner, retired |

Earp's got a lotta friends. I don't. Seems that y'all want to see me walkin' on the water down by the river. I only do that by special appointment these days. "Freedom is just Chaos, with better lighting." Alan Dean Foster |
