Today I mounted the psu, a 1500w psu in My Azza 9000B PC case, needless to say, I tried with the fan facing down and the fan facing up, I settled for the fan facing up, since the cut out appears to be for a psu with a D shaped power jack on the end of the psu where a on/off switch would normally be. I tried this way first, yeah this would need the least modification. I settled on this orientation, as the internal 24pin main psu cable is below the video card inputs, neither orientation is really satisfactory when it comes to the outside, but since I don't feel like using My Dremel cause it vibrates a lot and cause I don't have any cutting wheels, I don't know if a rubber psu gasket will help or not and I'm tempted to get one too, but not at this moment, I still have a 1/3hp swamp cooler motor to get installed in the cooler(not in the PC). I did install all the cases cables, though in unplugging the BLUE USB 3.0 cable, part of the connector on the motherboard came away with the cable, thankfully outside of a pin being bent some(since fixed), I got the part off of the cable and put the cables where they are at now, I might change the Black front panel cable(to the right of the Blue cable) from where it is now to come in where the Blue cable is at, at least once I've hooked up the 24pin power cable. Then I can install a GTX570 card in the bottom slot and I'll need to find a zip tie for that cable to the left of the Blue cable. I still need to work on 3 GTX580 cards, one of which is in this PC and that will be among the last parts taken from this PC to power up the replacement PC. I also need to get a set of UN Design Radiator brackets(see below, set of 4 brackets is $16.95), so a video card radiator(once cleaned) can be mounted in a drive bay, but the brackets can be left for later. @Vic, everything looks complicated to me. Thanks Lynn. I was borrowing Graces spot, that's about where She eats at, I try to do stuff there when She sleeps, but sometimes things happen and She wakes up. The T1 Trust, PRR T1 Class 4-4-4-4 #5550, 1 of America's First HST's |

Looks good Vic. Added a forth case fan to my Thermaltake case. Have a thermometer half way up the wall reading 74.7F and another in the exhaust air stream on top of the case 84.0F. When warmer weather gets here the temps will go towards 90+F. |

When warmer weather gets here the temps will go towards 90+F. Thanks Admiral Gloval. And My swamp(evaporative) cooler will be running full blast, but then I made sure no heat was coming in from outside, just like in a new house, thankfully almost all sources of Carbon Monoxide here in My place get their air from outside and also exhaust their air outside separately from where the air in the house comes from, though when it rains I think I'm still getting some water coming in between the threshold and the front door. My gas range has a vent above it, but the gas range has no pilot. So I don't have a CO detector or a need for one, I've lived in this place since late 2006 with no CO problems. Good Morning on a wet Monday. Same here. Misty drizzle since about 1800 local last night. But the weather-guessers say the Sierras are getting more snow, so that's a win for the reservoirs and farmers later this summer. Donald Infernal Optimist / Submariner, retired |
