This is disgusting.
Rebels in Syria are using caged hostages as human shields. The objective is stated to be to stop government forces and Russia's attack.
https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCHk32FBOnL8E7ehkDfGMh4Q

It is in eastern Ghouta that armed forces use both civilians and captured soldiers as human shields, according to human rights organization Human Rights Watch (HRW).
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ghouta_chemical_attack

And the EU's new system of refugee quotas is not working. So far, only half of the member countries announced that they can receive a total of 1375 refugees of the 160,000 who will receive resettlement in the EU.

Be nice if this can be confirmed

Just a 'Feel Good' incident.

Doesn't change anything.

I agree.

There are 3 options, as I see it:

1) Total destruction, as you have acknowledged yet not advocated.
2) People putting things in proper perspective: ISIS is dangerous, yet the probability of me dying due to an ISIS attack within the next 72 hours is 0.0001.
3) Or, really change hearts and minds of fundamentalist terrorists. Get them to see we are all better off, even them, if the madness comes to an end. Now. And forever.
Capitalize on this good fortune, one word can bring you round ... changes.

24 hour news cycle, it is stale and how short and transparent some starlet's dress is, is now much more important.

IS-recruitment
When it comes to Sweden has now just over 300 individuals, according to the Security Police, preferably traveled to Syria and Iraq. Many of them sympathize with the Islamic state (IS).
40 percent of them - around 120 young men - are coming from the Gothenburg area. Primarily from Bergsjön and Angered.
This figure makes Gothenburg to a European city that, in proportion to its population, contributing to the most people to the combatants, violent extremism.
Each month between five and ten new people are traveling from Sweden to Syria and Iraq to fight with the terrorist organization Islamic State.

Detain them if they return alive.

As far as I know it's only young girls that are coming back.
If they are lucky that is.
There are many parents who wonder why their kids go to fight with the IS.

Not sure of a better place to put this.
Busy weeks here at work, folks. Plus, I just managed to break 10000 posts here last week.
So, if you don't see me post much or at all until next week or beyond, don't be surprised.
Keep the discussions going.

Poverty, alienation, discrimination, et al, is never the reason.

But thats wrong.
I would say almost every IS soldier comes from a background of alienation, discrimination et al.

A Lebanese security chief warns of more terrorist attacks in Lebanon after bombings in Beirut suburb of Burj Al Barajneh Thursday in which 46 people died and over 200 were injured.

After Sunday's arrest of nine people who should have been involved in the terrorist attack in Burj Al Barajneh, a suburb of Beirut warned the Lebanese security chief General Abbas Ibrahim to more attacks could occur in Lebanon.

- Several militant network is under surveillance, but we expect more attacks. We have been warned of the threat and we still have a long way to go, said Abbas Ibrahim told the newspaper Aljomhouria.

Since there are millions, and millions of persons suffering alienation, discrimination,, et al.

And the entire ISIS 'Army' would only fill two football stadiums:

It is their individual evil, not any outside forces, which makes them...

Please make them responsible for their heinous acts.

IS has a very big recruting base from them.
How they are recruted is very much documented on Youtube.
Fortunatly there are not so many joining IS.

Because millions do not 'join'.

They, and no one else, are responsible for their individual acts of evil.

Correct?

All are responsible for their individual acts of evil.
However tracking IS soldiers down and bring them to justice seems almost impossible.

This is a War.
Justice is killing the enemy soldier, before he/she kills you. As in this, and any War.
If they not in any 'recognized' Uniform. You execute them, after they are captured. As in this, and any war. Inside your Country, or any other.
All those joining an Enemy Army, always lose their Citizenship. As in this, and any War.
Those in your, or any other Country. Giving 'Aid and Comfort' or 'Supporting' in any manner, your enemy in this War: Are arrested for Treason. As in this, and any War.
The above is a necessary addition to the Military and Economic Destruction of your enemy. As in this, and any War.

Warfare is now very much different to the 20'th century.
Today far less people are killed in wars.
Now kill a few and then let the rest live in fear in a hybrid warfare.

IS digital propaganda exceeds anything previously terror groups created.
When the group took on the attacks in Paris was finished, channels for disseminating statements, tribute videos and lavish propaganda images was distributed on the net immidiatly.
Darknet is an anonymous part of the network.
A site on the darknet means that it is operated in a manner that makes it difficult to trace.
https://translate.google.se/translate?hl=sv&sl=sv&tl=en&u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.dn.se%2Fnyheter%2Fsverige%2Fis-gor-natpropagandan-till-ett-dodligt-vapen%2F

For instance propaganda directed to our country.
Many children are in the movies.
The entire propaganda film is primarily intended to show how good life is in IS governance. The children are proof that there is life and joy to the side of warfare. It is also a signal to prospective rekryters families and social context in Sweden.
- They want to show parents back home in Sweden that there is no danger if their children go down to join the IS.

I don't think that you ever had a plot to lose in the first place.

If you took the time to digest Janne's post, you will realise he is right.
Whenever you have no legs to stand on, you make desparaging remarks, do that on your own threads, oops you don't allow it as you get them locked when that is done.

You don't like what you've read? Then scroll past.

Turkey shoots down Russian jet.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-middle-east-34907983

It was not much of an incursion. Less then 5 km.
Passing that Turkey area cant take minutes. More like seconds.
The Russian plane must have been shot down over Syrian airspace.

https://twitter.com/CNNTURK_ENG/status/669098577524822016
But on the other hand Russia has been warned by NATO.

Sloppy, sloppy, sloppy navigation, which Putin encourages. He wants to know if there is will to enforce boarders. He wants to know just how close he can get his first strike forces. He found out there is a cost to his game.
