Total utter twat, who is like a little boy who suddenly doesn't believe in the tooth fairy.

Russell brand is the most obnoxious little twerp on the face of this planet. I would pay good money to have him taken up a dark alley, and have his attitude rearranged (amongst other things).

Aaaarrggh

Can't argue with that, if you need the alleyway cleaned up after then i know a few tricks. :)

If UKIP was genuinely racist the party would have been outlawed by now, closed down, and band. But the party is not racist that's why it is still in existence and doing very well. I do suspect this SNP issue with Labour may well scare many potential UKIP voters into now voting Conservative, a shame, but very understandable under the circumstances. If they switch, then as long as they vote Conservative and keep Labour out even with LibDem support even Chris would rather see this than a Labour/SNP farcical government running loose. Labour/LibDem alliance I don't think will work out for long and could result in unnecessary damage to LibDem's credibility.

Here we have Sverige Demokraterna very much like UKIP.
They are genuinely racists and some even criminal...
One once threatened an immegrant comedian with a stealpipe!
But they have at last started a purge in the party.

UKIP are also genuinely racists, they just put a better spin on it. I don't see how a party that blames immigrants for our problems can be considered anything but racist.

Where the heck did "Call me Dave" originate from?

Cameron on first becoming PM. Practically all the media took the micky of that :-)

"Lots of people call me Dave, my mum calls me David, my wife calls me Dave, I don't really notice what people call me."

It was aimed at the Lib-Dems in fact on 16/12/05.

Good post but do have a couple of issues with it...

I can wholeheartedly promise you that.

Really? How?

It is vitally important that we get as many Lib Dem seats as possible on the 7th, only then can we keep this country on the straight and narrow for the next 5 years.

Like the past five years then so nothing changes, unless you "really" do have some inside knowledge that says different.

Also, can you "guarantee" that Clegg won't throw tantrums or do any more turnabouts?

Good reply. As for voting labour, no chance!

Unfortunately there is no UKIP candidate here so there is only one local party that really does the best they can & amazingly, are seen out & about every day doing so...

...WHO are they?

Well, it's not Liebour/Preservatives/Lib-Dems...

...they are our local Liberal Party & they are getting my vote as we have dual elections here next Thursday. Not sure the general election candidate will succeed but most of us are pretty sure that our local candidates will get re-elected.

Seems like Cameron have the same problem as I:)

I saw a map how the red vs blue voters are distributed in the UK.
Most of the red voters live in Birmingham, Manchester, Liverpool and Newcastle.
No surprise there:)

I think generally people living in cities tend to vote Labour whilst those out in the country are more likely to vote Tory.
Obviously there are exceptions to this, those in former mining communities are quite unlikely to vote blue, as is Scotland.

Your local 10 Wards all have one seat vacant, and all are being contested by UKIP candidates, as is the MP's seat.

Thanks for that. Until this afternoon all I got is either "this page cannot be displayed" or just waiting for the website to load - rest of Internet access okay :-(

Haven't seen any candidate from any of the other parties regarding the local & general election & unless they turn up & convince me otherwise, my vote is going for the people I know & who do work tirelessly for their local communities.

Sent my postal vote in on Tuesday. Had a choice of five; Red, Blue, Orange, Green, Purple.
5 points for anyone who guesses where my X went.

Got to agree with that. Have yet to receive any regular communications from the blues & reds or see them out & about in the community, yet if a "small" local Liberal Party can do so & quite regularly, it makes one think.

In the six years I've been in this ward, I've yet to see any regular communication from any of the big parties, yet the liberals, without fail, provide a cheerful & colourful monthly newsletter for each of their local communities showing the activities & campaigns for their community - the telling thing about that is that all can see for themselves their achievements.

That is sadly a serious black mark against the major parties with all their funding & soundbites.

Edit: As for the local UKIP candidates, forget it - I know quite a few & god help us (locally that is) if they get in.

Thanks. I agree with Farage, however, as a major party, they're not quite there yet - when or if they achieve that, then the other parties should start panicking, not worrying.

Unfortunately, just like all other parties at a local level, there are good & bad. Sorry Chris, I don't rate the Lib-Dem we have here so none of the major parties are getting my vote in the general election.

The legalised corruption in British politics runs deep throughout all parties.

So what is your answer? There are many out there who think the same, so: -

1: WHO do we listen to & WHY?

2: WHO should we vote for & WHY?

UKIP, 4 to 6 seats can be considered a good result under the circumstances, Chris.
Just a shame we have this SNP debacle going on slewing every thing.
Unlike Sirius I'm fortunate that 1), I have a UKIP standing in my constituency, and 2) Because my constituency is more blue than blue I can safely vote for UKIP knowing there is no chance of Labour getting in.
This coming Election is all about voting with your head and not with your heart but how many of the electorate have actually got their heads screwed on right.....we shall see. If we wake up on the Friday morning with a Con/LibDem coalition again we can consider ourselves saved. Might even wake up with a trialition , Con/LibDem/UKIP now that would be interesting but somehow can't see this happening....LibDem/UKIP too far apart to get on together.
