I have one machine (6-way AMD with an NVIDIA GTX 465) which happily runs multiple tasks in the GPU.

The second machine is very similar (6-way AMD with an NVIDIA GTX 760) which will not run multiple cuda tasks even though lunatics is installed and the app_info.xml files are identical.

What did miss or mess up?

Thanks,
Jim Wright

No, both machines have app_info.xml

Do both machines have modified app_info.xml's with the Count changed?

Does either machine a app_config.xml with figures that overrides the app_info.xml?

What does the Boinc startup say? Does either see an app_config.xml?

Pretty much same issue for me, used Lunatics to fix a previous issue with getting the wrong units, edited all <count>1</count> to <count>0.33</count> and its still only doing one unit at a time and lists that unit as using 1 Nvidia GPU.

Can you list the steps you took?

Installed Lunatics installer and ran it, then closed boinc, edited the app_info.xml file changing the relevant values to 0.33, saved and fired up Boinc again.

Did you shut down the manager or go to the advanced menu and select shut down the client?

YES

NO

I DO NOT KNOW HOW TO DETERMINE THIS. But, I did find one error on the problem machine. The shortcut indicated the program on C: when it should be on G: along with the Program Date folder.

I have uninstalled BOINC and re-installed with the latest release (7.4.36).

Problem fixed.

Thanks,
Jim Wright

The startup would say so if it found any:
