Just to be different

Personality: ENTP

Variant: Assertive

Role: Analyst

The words "assertive" and "analyst" seem to be appearing a lot in these results. Does that mean anything ?

12 star signs and 4 cusps on a birth chart that's 16 personality's in Astrology

Funny that and there's nothing in Astrology is there .....Na

A birth chart is not the same as a normal star chart , and it's not about for telling the future either , you can make a good guess thou what a person may do if you understand there personality profile.

Astrology studied for 5000 yrs
Modern psychology studied for 100 yrs

mmm makes you wonder whom is more accurate me i'm Libra with Virgo sun sign and Aquarius as my ascending sign look that up and i bet you will get a better understanding than this test will ever tell you about yourself or me .

Edit: sarcastist mode Albert Einstein was a Aquarius if you have Aquarius as your star sign or sun sign or ascending sign then you are very smart as people with it have a deeper understanding of the universe and know secrets about it . So i must be in Einstein's class as i'm also a dislexic so 2 of his trats yeeeee i'm must be a geniuos ............not

Am I the only INFP? Apparently only 4% of the population seem to be. But I do have Aquarius rising.
Must be the only old hippie here.

Variant is assertive and role diplomat.

According to the website, the meaning of the two variants are...

Assertive individuals are emotionally stable, calm, relaxed, refuse to worry too much

Turbulent individuals are perfectionists, self-conscious, success-driven, care about their image

@Julie - probably means setizens mostly won't panic :) you know... when we discover we're not alone in the universe and we're still wearing our pyjamas...

In the linked articles there was a page discussing how to resolve any uncertainty people may have with their personality type (defined by the four letter codes) http://www.16personalities.com/articles/unsure-about-your-personality-type which some of us might find interesting

So I had Mickie (Michele) take the test. She turned out to be an INFJ. So now anniet has some company. :-)

Awwww... YAY! Hi Mickie :)

@Glenn - there could well be some not insignificant cross over between the two approaches in some cases :) What I found amusing was that my sister (re-trained by her religious husband to see astrology as "evil") had no problem accepting the results of this test as being "her" - as did my brother-in-law after doing his test - and both results point more or less straight back at their birth signs albeit somewhat nuanced :)) Doesn't mean it would be so for everyone I'm sure, but it is just a bit of fun :) which may or not have any truth in it.

edit: just out of curiosity - next time I have a really bad day and am feeling slightly... apocalyptic :) I'll try the test again... I'll keep you all posted as to how that goes :) another edit: I could probably hurry it along by ringing up BT or something... :)

@ Annie & Glenn - There does seem to be a tenuous link between Astrology and this lot. I am Capricorn with a Capricorn Ascendant but with Venus in there somewhere. Which apparently makes me a kindly patriarch sort of Manager. For others to judge not me.

I herd that Astrology was used as a basis for psychology and when correctly used for personality profiling it's quiet good and still used today buy the military , FBI, CIA when little else other than the birth date is all they have to go on .

In that case, you heard wrong. Astrology has absolutely nothing in common with psychology and no, its not being used by the military, FBI or CIA because its complete and total nonsense. Let it be clear, but the position of the moon, planets, sun, stars and other heavenly bodies has absolutely zero influence on what you are like as a person.

In this, at least, Мишель and I are in total agreement. Astrology is total horse-sh**.

I was too young to be a Teddyboy, too old to be a Mod, not rough enough to be a rocker, and not cool enough to be hippy!

Wait, what!? Hippies were cool? ;)

CLYDE a hippie, then a disco dancer?

What is the world coming to? :D

Soon you'll be telling me the CIA and FBI use horoscopes for profiling!

(Though considering that Reagan & Thatcher were complete fruitcakes when it came to astrology, I wouldn't be too surprised if that proved to be the case up until the 80s)

LOL... I am so introverted it went offa the chart.

I think it said I am totally socially screwed.....
In real life, I am.
The Seti boards are the only way I can loosen up a bit.

The problem I have with these tests is I can't make up my mind how to answer certain questions.
I pose and toss both sides of a coin, and can rationalize either response as being true.
Under certain situations, I could answer one way, and given another set of circumstances, I could truly answer the other.
My logical side prevents me from giving one perfect answer.

I guess that makes me a nut case, who does not fit any niche.
But, I guess most of you already knew that....LOL.

Im going to have to look up what my ESFJ means.
