GenuineIntel You just connected your I3 to SETI a month ago. RAC is calculated over a period of time. You have a lot of work (normal) that are pending validation. When the systems that are partnered with you start reporting you will see the RAC for this system start climbing. This will take several weeks to become stable. Don't be surprised if the I3 outperforms your I7 since it contains a usable GPU which by itself can outdo your I7. Do keep an eye on that system. If the GPU starts giving error you may have to do something about the driver version (some of the newer drivers for the Intel built in GPU have been causing problems). In the meantime just sit back and watch the RAC on your new system climb. You could always install the optimize apps on both your systems to make them more productive, but, that's a discussion for another day. Boinc V7.2.42 Win7 i5 3.33G 4GB, GTX470 |

Aurora; As you predicted, the output of my 8.1 machine is climbing. It's up to 1080 as of this morning. Could you tell me a little about that enhanced SETI? Dave Nelson |
