As we all know, that jar of assorted old washers we've had since 1984 will definitely come in handy sometime...

Ahahaaahaha! Sooo true :)

Love the thread Chris.

A more modern version. The KITT Cave from the 2008 Knight Rider resurrection.

The series was surprisingly good. Didn't quite have the charm of the original, but wasn't such a travesty as several other remakes i could name.

Mr Sparky, what would you like engraved on your headstone?

@Alex, sure is. The best man cave though was the Swamp in Mash.

No engraving needed, I'm in my man cave. No wimmin can get in here.

I'm totally safe.

I'm sure of it.

Not surprising with the plumbing they had.

And that the Batmobile was equipped with a computer programmed with punched cards in the trunk.

Chris, Chris, Chris..... shakes head. You have been to the Hotel K and seen one of the finest Man Caves in existence. Yah sure a brief attempt was made to clean it up a bit and thatis how it moved to the garage, I think.

@Zalster I see a t-shirt on the wall, but not a Seti one.....MMM

@Ang, the offer still stands to get your garage organized.
@Eric your cave is safe, as you know exactly were everything is at and a cleaning would just mess things up and the complaints would pile up here.

@Es, I know how you feel. I was and am the only woman in this house. So I decided to join them, as I couldn't win. It took a long time, but they slowly retrained me, to overcome the German "Your House has to spotless at all times" idea.

Also my Animals are doing their part, shedding, to provide insulation on the floor.

I am happy to have been retrained, since I currently work six days a week and Sunday should be my day of rest. I am not a slob, just not up to standards I was raised with.

Sorry for the ramble.
Pluto will always be a planet to me.

Actually I didn't Uli, I never went in it, the door was partly open once when I used the nearby bathroom that was all. Yes I did see the garage as I left my camera there! In any case Eric does work from home and the sort of job he has requires that sort of man cave. His man cave at the lab I did see of course before the big Angela cleanup of '14.

I wonder if the desk in there has vanished again :)

Uli...

Didn't get around to ordering one and by the time I thought about it, my size was all out... :(

I'll hold out for the 20th year anniversary one ;)

When we saw it in the summer we were so blinded by the picture of beauty he had prominently displayed there, that I don't even remember what the desk looked like.

(Unfortunately, what they will REALLY get when they google me is just a bunch of photos of raccoons...)

Well.

I just read this whole thread from the beginning, for the first time.

I am now also a single male living alone in a house. My original bedroom has filled up and now only has room for me to get dressed. No other function is possible.

My mother's study still has a lot of her junk (including the sewing machine that I used more than she ever did), and also a bunch of my grandmother's junk that I got out of her house before we sold it.

I went into my mother's bedroom and got rid of her clothes, with the idea that I would move myself into it, but I never got rid of the rest of her stuff. The best thing I can say about that room is that I have NOT started to deposit my own junk there.

The living room has filled up with stuff in the last few years, but recently I started clearing it out a bit. (Okay, all I've removed so far is empty boxes, but it's a start.)

The basement has been a junk pile since we moved into the house in 1972. Recently I've pulled a few boxes off that pile too.

The bathroom is more cat than me.

The kitchen is just disgusting. I don't even invite my best friend over anymore.

Make over in the Man Cave this weekend in preparation for the Big Game on Sunday.

Time to move the arcade machines toward the back and the poker tables closer to the TV.

Refrigerator restocked with numerous different beers.

Burgers and hot dogs in the second frig.

Tomorrow I'll get the fixing for burgers and dogs from the store.

Looks like a full house for the game as weather calls for Rain that day and all outdoor parties have been cancelled.

So looks like wasn't so silly for having that building build! Ha!
