I have always periodically downloaded copies of my Certificate of Computation for my own records. It has been a small, but special pleasure to see and privately record my progress over the years. I tried to download them today. However, to my surprise, I found that only the very basic Diploma version, without even the Classic units information, is available!

I find it difficult to believe that these certificate options, the best among all the BOINC projects, would have been removed for performance considerations.

I have searched the forums and only found a reference to an error on 2014-10-04 in:

Questions and Answers : GPU applications : extraneous information when requesting a certificate

This error in displaying the certificates was acknowledged and purported to have been fixed over the next five days.

I would most certainly like to see these special certificate options, which have been available for years, put back in the system. I believe that there are many of our silent SETI users out there who would also like to see these made available to us again.

Does anyone know what happened to these very attractive alternative versions, i.e., the Modern and Photo versions, and the option to include the number of Classic units processed? I would appreciate someone shedding light on what happened, and why, and if these small thanks for years of loyal service might be able to be returned to us?

Thank you for any help you can provide on this!

I didn't find any problems generating any of the certificates. With or without the classic information or the images versions.

Thank you!
With that bit of information you provided, I was able to determine what happened. My mistake was that I accidentally went to the certificate from the ACCOUNT link on one of the internal SETI pages and selecting the link:

Certificate Account · Cross-project

This option takes you to only the most basic diploma. I also tried selecting the YOUR ACCOUNT link on the SETI home page, with the same result.

While I did look for other links to the certificates, I didn't think to go all the way back to the home page and look for another link there. In my defense for not doing a thorough enough search, I will say that I had been up all night doing maintenance on my rigs, so I was very tired.

Wouldn't it be nice if we had one dollar for every mistake we have made because we were too tired? I assure you that I, for one, would now be a very wealthy man!

Thank you again!
