Cheers all. Was kinda hoping to get an insult from anniet for my suggestion :-) but perhaps another time.

Think I've done this right. Hope it's a new one for the game.

We have nothing to fear but fear itself. Apart from pain. And maybe humiliation. And obviously death. And failure. But apart from fear, pain and humiliation, failure and the unknown and death - we have nothing to fear. Who’s with me?

Anyone know how often I should be offering clues?

Once a day is common to keep it moving. But don't give away too much at once.

A spotting scope?

Cheers for the tip Carlos :-) Tricky bit will be in not giving too much away. Going to be cagey for now and just say Gary Charpentier is in the right area and that it is not a medical device, to my knowledge.

*emerge from depths of internet*

I've been looking for something *perplexed frown* I didn't find it. Kind of made a mockery of me rushing over here to put you out of your misery really. Was the poorest demonstration of a quilling fringing machine in action that I once upon a long time ago found *sad blink* Things that bad should not be allowed to disappear :)

...unless of course *pause for pointed glance at celttooth* :) it led to some kind of injury...

You've all been so patient! And so sweet - putting yourself through all those contortions to sign a card for me :) thank you! and for all your lovely good wishes too :)

So... I see there is a win-...

Uh hu hummng... :)))

Congratulations Smoke me a kipper! :)

Now - as for your tool... is it a nasal hair remover?

Apologies. Presently working three jobs. Not good for finding spare time in a day and hell for the memory.

Great suggestions everyone :-)) I think we have a few here who know exactly what this "gadget" is used for - although its remit extends beyond the "herb garden" - allegedly :-) but if Carlos is happy to take the win, I will post up the name of the beast. If not - we'll have to wait for someone else to do it. Anyone? :-)

Well, if it has anything to do with law enforcement and "sniffing" something out, I would say maybe it's a metal detector or even a radar gun.
