I'm sure that somewhere this has been answered, but I searched around and couldn't find anything.
My I7 with a Radeon HD 5800 series had been out of commission for many months. It's alive again and I've been away from Seti during that time. I thought it would be a good idea to refresh the Lunatics apps I've been running. I used the v0.43a installer and fired it up. The gpu WUs run for maybe 30 seconds to a minute and go into a "postponed" state, then into "waiting". Then they start over again. Eventually they error out. I uninstalled Boinc and blew away everything. I downloaded and installed a fresh/latest Boinc and added the Seti project. I've run the standard apps for a few days and all seems fine. So I tried the v0.43 installer again. "postponed", "waiting", start over. Is this a Tom Cruise movie? Any advice is appreciated.
Also it seems that app_info.xml is being replaced by app_config.xml? I don't see either of those in my standard Seti setup that I have to use now. My gpu needs 2 tasks running to load it. How do I do that now?

First of all, according to Boinc you have a HD 5700/6750/6770 series GPU, CLinfo reports it as a Juniper,
Your GPU is running 1.4.1646 CAL drivers, and OpenCL 1.1 AMD-APP (831.4) drivers, these are matched drivers (as opposed to mismatched) and use SDK 2.6,
while this is a quite old driver, it should still work (it does with the r1831 app):
ATI Driver Version Cheat Sheet
Looking at your initial Wu with r2489, it repeatedly fails when doing a call to 'non-strip fft', perhaps this call doesn't work isn't implemented in SDK 2.6 drivers: :

Doug try updating your drivers to a more recent driver (You're on Cat 11.12 atm), Cat 13.12 should work fine.

The gpu is an ATI FirePro something or other. When I updated the device driver some number of years ago somehow the information changed. The device manager says it's an AMD Mobility Radeon HD 5800 Series. Whatever. As long as it works and the Catalyst update seemed to do the trick. It's run through a couple of gpu WUs now with no problems. Thanks! I'm always a bit reluctant to update drivers. I've seen too many times on this board where people have had to roll back.
Okay so now an app_info.xml has appeared and I see files like mb_cmdline_win_x86_SSE_OpenCL_ATi_HD5.txt. What's the current BKM for getting 2 instances to run on this card for MB and AP?
Thanks,
Doug

Just change <count>1</count> to 0.5.
I would also suggest to use -sbs 256 switch in comand line string for MB.
This speeds things up a little.

We're going to need someone to role back to the Cat 11.12 drivers and see if the latest r2758 app works with this driver,
then to see if any potential fixes work too, I'll try to run that driver tomorrow when I get back to my HD7770, and see if I can replicate the problem.
