Hello buddies! Since i don't own a x86 computer anymore ... I decided to keep on crunching with my phone and SmartTV .. Both running Android 4.4 and running on ARMv7 based CPUs (MediaTek 6582 and Rockchip 3188) They support NEON .. However SETI server sends me the vfp version ... Nice for old ARMv6 chips ..But in my case .. Makes tasks take x10 more time rather than the NEON which comes with NativeBOINC (The unofficial client)
How can i get the neon optimised app automatically from server ?

Here is the problem ...

Once you have completed the required 11 tasks from each app. Then the server will know which app runs best on your hardware. Once it know this. Then it will primary send you work for the best app.

Actually, server will never give you such good optimized Android app as Mateusz one coming with NativeBOINC. There are no such apps available.

True, the opt app is much faster and NativeBOINC has much more features, for example a cache, which is very usefull during the weekly server maintance. For me it also works more stable, the app runs without any restarts and thousands of "stuckdumps unavailable" in the std_err like the official apps did. Now if I only could get the network access to work on it...
