Three eggs medium well. Three slices wheat bread untoasted with light butter. OJ with extra calcium (it has a lower acid content). Throat is sore and raw. So keep those whites done and yokes soft please. Oh, send a spittoon over. My spitter is working in overdrive. |

Found it! Took myself to dinner tonight, had meatloaf. Reminded me of my last tour in Hawai'i, in the early 1990s. In the International Marketplace in Waikiki, there was an underground Hofbrau. They served meatloaf, but what was on the plate looked like SPAM. The meat was much more finely ground than the regular ground beef you get in the store. Didn't taste like SPAM, but looked like it. Spam is a trade mark of a meatloaf based upon ham which is pork. It is also called Pork Luncheon Meat. If you like eating dead pig then fine, enjoy! The rest of us will abstain thank you. Di Gustibus non disputandem est, as Dr. Asimov was wont to say. Wouldn't dream of making you eat something you didn't want to, Chris. But I was raised an omnivore, I'll eat just about anything that won't kill me outright. You don't want SPAM, ham, or bacon, fine, Ian and Sparky and I will take care of your share, and you can have some of our veggies. Donald Infernal Optimist / Submariner, retired |

Spam is a trade mark of a meatloaf based upon ham which is pork. It is also called Pork Luncheon Meat. If you like eating dead pig then fine, enjoy! The rest of us will abstain thank you. By the early 1970s the name "Spam" was often misused to describe any tinned meat product containing pork, such as pork luncheon meat. With expansion in communications technology, it became the subject of urban legends about mystery meat and other appearances in pop culture. Most notable was a Monty Python sketch portraying Spam as both ubiquitous and inescapable, characteristics which lent to its name being borrowed for unsolicited electronic messages, especially spam email. |

I hope the sky is clear for the next few nights. This sun spot group may just give us a very good show soon. (Thank you to Dr. Tony.) |
