Message 1646668 - Posted: 25 Feb 2015, 22:02:05 UTC - in response to Message 1646498.

Had a Hardee's Monster Biscuit on my way to court.

Way out West, it's Carl's Jr/Green Burrito, but same menu as the Hardee's I ate at in Charleston in the early 1980s.

I prefer their new Grilled Cheese Breakfast sandwich, on grilled sourdough (probably the same sourdough bread as Jack-in-the-Box uses).

Nothing like being awakened by the aroma of brewing Coffee and frying Bacon.......

ever notice there are more adjectives relating to smell than any other sense?

Aroma
Scent
Odor
Stink
Smell
Fragrance
I'm sure I missed a few.

To absent companions......[Clink]

Coffee. I never learned to drink it. It was not around when I was growing up. So I don't drink it except on rare occasions.

"A cup of coffee in the morning may pack more than just an energy boost.

More and more research is emerging to suggest that there may be several health benefits associated with drinking this dark black beverage, from helping prevent diabetes to lowering the risk of liver disease."

Our Keurig 2.0 has several settings for using the K-Cups.

Default = 8 Oz

Manual Settings:

4 Oz

6 Oz

10 Oz

We have 12 Oz coffee cups; so, we manually set the machine for 10 Oz. I also set mine for "strong".

Many of my coffee cups are 8oz, but some are 10, and I have a few 12oz tankards from my Navy days. Plus a dozen assorted 12oz travel mugs.

I'm not retiring my 12-cup Mr. Coffee until it dies. Then I might try a Keurig or similar one-cup brewer.

My 12 cup Mr Coffee is 15 years old with a built in timer. Makes great jo.
That's how I wake to the aroma/scent/smell/fragrance of the brew. My mug is 16oz good for two each morning.

;)) :D .g

Chris, shakes her head. If you do a study, it has to be consistend with the size of the mug. That is what I was refering too. No cup size listed.
