If you have a tree, post a pic here. :~)

This is mine, at my mother's house:

Wow. That is an old-fashioned Christmas tree. Awesome. Are there bubble lights on it (do you know about those?); how long did it take to put that together? And is that you - the towhead in the picture frame? ;-)

No tree here, though. May put up a few lights, if the wind and rain let up.

CC

I love bubble lights, but that tree just has regular strands on it. Took about 2 hours for me to drape the lights the way I like, and then another couple hours for me to hang the ornaments. The tree is a very nice silk/nylon needled one, we've had since 1997. Yes, that's little Gordon. :~}

I've no tree either, I've got enough space, just with the current arrangement of the furniture(2 pieces are in the way, ideal would be moving 3, not just 2) and a too long sofa, I can't put one in, though I have all the ornaments and such from My last tree, I'll probably go vintage aluminum xmas tree since It'll only need 1 light(an led flood light) for a color wheel, still no where to put it yet, drat and double drat.

Nice Tree Gordon, Grace would love it, to climb in that is.

I've never seen one of those aluminum trees and color wheels live and in action.

I grew up with them, all that had to be done is put the tree up, put ornaments on the tree and setup the light, like so almost, the wheel rotates and one color at a time is displayed, neat really.

My mom had one of those and planted it in the back yard. It's now over 40 feet tall and has an owl living in it over the winter. Most of the time you hear it but once I seen it on the ground. It decided it was time to get out of there and the best description of it was a bowling ball with enormous wings.
Just get it a bigger pot and it will be respectable next year.

There are three types of "bowling balls", here: Screech Owl, Barred Owl, and Great Horned.

Hoots going to be a wet Christmas, unfortunately. Maybe, in 2015. . .

Merry Christmas, to one and all.

Since I don't own any land, I can't buy and plant a live tree, I'm not sure what Grace would do to a 5'-6' pine tree, besides try and climb it, Stater Bros Market has some for sale, but I don't want to be responsible for a tree, until it's acclimated.

Here's mine :)

Assuming it survives THIS year's preferred torture method of course... :))))))))) It's a lovely tree Zappy - as are everyone elses :) Thank you for sharing :)

We always had growing trees which we then planted out... till I came to the UK and realised we mostly seem to lop bits off them here :( so it's been artificial ones ever since. THIS year I have had to stick mine to the floor with duct tape because one of it's feet has gone missing :/ thought it would have turned up by now... but it hasn't. WOULD take a photo... but the first and only time I tried taking a selfie, my camera broke. Expect my daughter will though... she likes pointing out my idiosyncracies on facebook :)

Anyway - HAPPY CHRISTMAS EVE YOU LOVELY PEOPLES!! :)

Right back at you Annie.

So far I've not been able to get the camera to break when I've taken a pic, I know I should smile, maybe that will do the job. ;)

Oh and everyone have a Happy New Year.

Tonight is going to be colder than this morning was, I'll post that in the weather thread...
