Who the heck is this Charles?

Major Charles Emerson Winchester III, Surgeon.

HeHeHe.
Reminds of my military service as a conscript.
Every Sunday they showed MASH on TV before I had to go back to my unit.
And Before that a show with the Muppet Show.
You know Kermit and Miss Piggy....

How could you tell the difference in Sweden ???

What?
Are you talking to me?
Differences? Between MASH and the Muppet Show?
Do you perhaps mean "How could you tell the difference in Britain"?
Silly question really..
The question should be "Can you tell the difference?"

Drunk raccoon

REminds me of when I was in Navy Nuclear Power training in Idaho. The house we were renting didn't have a fully-fenced yard, so sometimes the neighbors' dogs and cats would visit our back yard and scratch at the kitchen door, hoping for a treat. Once, during one of our weekend pinochle parties, one of my shipmates put some gin in the water bowl we kept for the critters. This one dog, I think it was a yellow Lab, had trouble standing on the tile floor in our kitchen/dining room. After a few drinks out of that bowl, the poor thing couldn't keep his legs under him - went in all four directions, and made the most pathetic yowl when he hit the floor. Never let my shipmate do that again.

Ferrets are nice.
A friend of mine had a ferret pet.
This one is however a bit younger.

I, too, feel sorry for that drunken raccoon. It is not the fault of the animal that it got a hold of something it should not have had.

know better the next time around.....

Dunno about that! There are annual tales of deer getting inebriated on fermenting fallen apples on the ground, and other similar occurrences.

And there are the stories out of India of drunken Elephants going on rampages...http://www.theguardian.com/world/2010/dec/03/elephants-drunken-rampage-india

Here is a picture of a rather large raccoon in our neighbour's garden last night. Sorry for the quality, it was dusk and light was failing.

I recall that the Vancouver Island raccoons were quite a bit bigger than the urban ones we get here in the middle east (of Canada, that is).

I think even this one seemed unusually large compared to some I have seen, it also seemed quite old.

I really want to make a sports joke about "Vancouver Island
Raccoons," but I can't think of one right now.

Hi from a state park along the Central Coast, where Eric and I are currently attending a family reunion. Last night when Eric and I were walking from one family member's cabin quarters down to ours, we saw two wild raccoons.

Dang! I didn't know that raccoons could be that skinny!!!
