One of my aunts has a fox that hangs out on her roof. It uses a nearby leaning tree to scamper up to and down from the roof. I haven't managed to catch it in a photo yet but more than one person has seen it. |

I was mowing my "lawn" today. It was actually mostly weeds that had grown to about three feet (approx. one mitre) tall. I barely got started when out of the "bush" came the cutest little possum. It was small - definitely a juvenile. And it was alone. I did't have my phone nearby so I didn't get a photo. I picked him up and moved him away from the mowing, and I didn't want to hang onto him longer than necessary just for the sake of having a photo. I was very tempted to keep him as a pet. He was just soooo cute! Of course I wouldn't keep him as a pet. I suspect it's illegal to do so, anyway. ~Sue~ |

Dang Sue. Those things have sharp little needle-like teeth. I'm surprised you were willing to pick up an opossum. On a related note, Eric and I got our rabies booster shots this morning. The travel doctor we formerly used for such things retired, so today we were new patients at a new practice. On his history form under "Reason For Visit" Eric wrote "Married to a crazy woman." When I told the nurse that the reason we were getting rabies booster shots was NOT because we were traveling to some exotic locale like India or Sub-Saharan Africa, but rather because I regularly feed urban wildlife in my suburban backyard, she laughed and said that I would get along great with her mother. It was nice of her to say that, but I could not help but wonder if the Looney Tunes band-aid she put on my arm after the shot was a sign of what she was REALLY thinking... |

They're just bandages Angela, I'd have those around here, but then I grew up with 'looney tunes', like Tas(manian Devil), Daffy Duck and Bugs Bunny, among others... We all search for signs of ET, if that is crazy, then I say 'so what??' My Dad didn't like that phrase, I do. I'm not Him, not entirely, He had nothing to worry about, I turned out ok, outside of some physical problems that I got cursed with after He passed on. Oh and the date might be off, as Mary may not be able to go out, due to financial reasons, Village Cafe or not. The T1 Trust, PRR T1 Class 4-4-4-4 #5550, 1 of America's First HST's |

Wear it as a badge of honor. Like some WWII submarines. Tokyo Rose called them "pirates", so they flew the Jolly Roger whenever they could. Adm. Lockwood loved it. If the nurse mentioned that you and her mother would get on, I think she was just poking fun at you in a good natured sort of way. And I think it was a cute joke...LOL. Dogs on the roof! Love it Zoom:) One neighbour in front of me has a cat that usually sits on the window sill. She/he however once tripped and fell down from 3 stairs I Think. Anyway I picked her/him up after the incident and moved her/him to a safer Place:) |

Dang Sue. Those things have sharp little needle-like teeth. I'm surprised you were willing to pick up an opossum. It's hard to think of the danger when you see something that cute and that small. I know it's a dumb thing to do, just like scratching the neck of the raccoon that was "trapped" in my kitchen cupboard. (I told you about that didn't I?) I just have a strong feeling that God will keep me safe, as long as I'm doing the right thing. So far He hasn't let me down. ~Sue~ |
