I don't care as much about the morning getting earlier as about the evening getting later.

Got to see video of my model railroad club being torn down. Rather sad!

That would sadden me too. Last thing I did was in N gauge. While I was in the US I let my teenage daughter here in England use it. Some years later I was going to resurrect it but no locos or rolling stock could be found and she denies all knowledge. I suspect some boyfriend of the time was involved. Anyway that took the heart right out and I haven't got involved since, except for attending exhibitions. I don't list it as a hobby any more.

I was into HO scale, so I know what you mean Shannock, all that is gone now, I helped with the cad program featured in Model Railroader Magazine that's known as XTrkCAD, I added some HO track components that I felt were missing.

I once used one of those programs, possibly that one, to design a new layout for the club. We never built it.

Ping!

The components were some ModelPower/Roco turnouts, like some curved ones, Roco also designed and made components for Atlas.

Now burned out on ST movies. Watching Black Sheep Squadron. Not watching sing-along Sound of Music.

I could watch ST IV: The Voyage Home many more times. It helps that I lived in SF 1982-1994 so it evokes many happy memories. But the main attraction for me is Catherine Hicks as Dr Gillian Taylor. Prefigures David Brin's Startide Rising etc.

They didn't show that one today. I came in at the beginning of III, but I suppose they might have run II before that. They ran III, V, VI, and then jumped back to II, which will be followed by III, V, and VI again. Then three episodes of The Captains Close Up (including Kate Mulgrew, which I haven't seen, at 4 a.m.) Then on to BBC World News.

Yes, this all day Trek gorge is running on BBC America. "We speak English."

BTW, Scott, starting on Wednesday, there's a five day us marathon. I think it's all Christmas episodes on Christmas day.

And here's III starting again. I think I'll pass. Once is enough.

Ping!

[edit]
So here I am watching it again anyway.

Thanks for the mention of this, David. I just set the DVR to record all three "The Captains". My mom deleted the original airing before I could watch them... Now, I finally get to see them! :-)

Just turned on ST III... Got in on the scene where the Red Alert goes off on Excelsior, (in Space Dock), and the Enterprise is moving towards the closed Space Doors.
