A lovely late autumn day here today hitting a top of 17C (the shed hit 27C with the ceiling fan on), but very likely it'll be raining again by sunrise tomorrow.

Cheers.

As long as the river don't rise near you..

My local river goes up and down every day, but Davis dam might have something to do with that.

Well once past the narrows in Victorville CA, the Mojave river flows mostly underground, except when a flood control reservoir upstream somewhere needs to let loose cause of rising waters. That's about the only time the Mojave river in Barstow CA looks like a real river these days..

In any case I've got the a/c on in Energy saving mode and set to 75F, that a/c makes working in here easier for Me I've found, so the coolers pump stays on the shelf and so I save on water, I'll know exactly what My bill will be like soon, but a full months use of a/c on the bill will have to wait for July to show up. I'm hoping the space-rent/energy/water/trash bill will be $321.43 or lower in June.

Good luck with the juice bill, kid.
You are in for a shocker, I think.
I know about energy bills...in the tune of some $600.00 a month for the crunchers. It don't come for free, buddy. You got the AC for free, but the energy to run it is gonna cost ya.

The a/c is an LG 10,000 BTU window Energy Star unit(LW1015ER), with an EER rating of 11.3, which says costs $80 a year to run, even if the cost were double that, I'd still be $40 ahead of the game. I run the unit in energy saving mode, which means the a/c isn't always on.. Oh and My electrical rate here is about $0.03 a KWH, but then I get the CARE rate on My gas and Electricity, a 20% discount...
