Think so too... Have the heating on in here, current outside temperature is 5°C. Praying for the homeless people 20 minutes past Christmas.

-86F does sound impressive, for Earth, on Mars at the poles the temp can get down to -200F according to the Mars Global Surveyor. Not bad for a planet 10% the size of Earth.

That was the winter of 1976-1977, we had 60 days of snow (not all at once) and the snow was up to the power lines in some places. When I left the road were closing behind us. :O A low in the winter that sits over James bay move farther south near Lake Ontario and just dumped on us.

Here the outside temp is 29F/-2C, easily cold enough for snow, but nope, no such luck, the sky is clear, the predicted high might be 50F/10C for today for this area.

About the same here - 29F going to 51F, then back down to 30F tonight.

Come on global warming!

Well snow isn't a issue around here but at times we do get a light dusting. Up in the Mnt. can be big time but right now it seems to melt off quick so I have no idea how it's going to work this year. So Caltooth turn off the Global warming until I figure this out. :))

Yesterday we received 12mm of steady drizzle all day and only hit 18C (14C with windchill).

Today so far has been the same, except without the wind, but our expected top temp is only 16C.

Rain fall for this month has now hit 215mm.

Where's summer?

Cheers.

And sea level rose about 400' in elevation, plus coast lines changed drastically, sure this was 10,000 years ago at the end of the last ice age, but still, better I don't know, lots of land was lost and land was gained, the North Sea used to be land and Wales/England/Scotland was not an island and was joined to Europe(there were no white cliffs at Dover yet either)...
