We were suppose to hit 28C here today, but we barely made 26C and the breeze made that 2C lower,

Thankfully no rain or storms are in the offering this day.

Cheers.

Thanks to the last few storms, the snowpack is up to 48% of normal in the Sierra Nevada Mountains, CA and NV share this resource...

Thanks Celt. From what I've read, a few years back at this time the snowpack was at about 24% of normal, so it's looking hopeful and soon enough the CA water bond will be used to increase water storage(among other goals of the bond), about $2.7 Billion out of 7.12 Billion, this bond passed with 67.13% of the voters voting YES. More details can be found at the link.

Other than the storms rolling through here we havn't seen very much of summer at all.

Overcast again this morning and low to mid 20C's are on the forecast for the rest of the month with a lot more rain to come.

We had a very heavy 20min storm here late yesterday afternoon that dumped 21mm taking this month's total to 171mm.

Cheers.
