Just watched episode one of three. Even after experiencing 1/3 of the total movie I'm still not sure where the plot line is going. It picks up 50 years into a 100 year interstellar flight with 600 humans on board. It's a somewhat interesting study of a long term closed society with all the everyday problems all humans face but there is a twist that is revealed near the end of episode one. Thanks for posting this, Bob. Hopefully, and surely, they will rerun it soon, and I'll tape it. I'd like to see it. The mind is a weird and mysterious place |

Thanks for posting this, Bob. Hopefully, and surely, they will rerun it soon, and I'll tape it. I'd like to see it. They are rerunning Part 1 tonight before airing Part 2. I recorded Part 1 last night, watched it this morning; thought it was pretty well done. TimeLord04 Have TARDIS, will travel... Come along K-9! Join Calm Chaos |

Part 1 is only an hour and 6 minutes without ads. That is why I referred to it as a movie in parts vs. a mini series. Bob DeWoody My motto: Never do today what you can put off until tomorrow as it may not be required. This no longer applies in light of current events. |

Well after watching the 1st episode a lot of mistakes make more sense at the end. LOL |

After watching the second episode I'll be back tomorrow to watch the finish. It's good to see they were very adult about needing adult diversions. One thing has surprised me so far and that is the lack of a recreational drug sub culture on board. So far there's been no mention of how the "down below" work force was recruited. There is a lot of back story that is vague or missing but maybe that is something left for future installments. They are airing all three episodes tonight. Depending on the outcome I wouldn't be surprised if it turned into a weekly series. And Tricia Helfer is just as hot in this one as she was in Battlestar Galactica. Bob DeWoody My motto: Never do today what you can put off until tomorrow as it may not be required. Well, seeing the initial intro, I didn't think I would be interested. Now looking forward to seeing part 3. |

Well, as I suspected the story is a long way from it's conclusion. Series to follow as long as the ratings were high enough. It is a very engrossing plot line, one of the best in a long time from the SyFy channel. Bob DeWoody My motto: Never do today what you can put off until tomorrow as it may not be required. Haven't watched part 3 yet, but according to IMDB & the Wiki, it's supposed to be six x 1 hour episodes. |

It could easily be compressed into a single 3 hr movie without loss of meaningful content. But that is true of most serial movies. Maybe the next three episodes won't leave us so much in the dark. There's going to be another 3 episodes? Just finished part 3. It's what I hate about most serials - TBC. The annoying thing with most North American series is that sometimes TBC never arrives on screen. Oh, and another thing I found weird, the credits for part 3 stated episodes 105 & 106. |
