Good Morning Julie, Annie, Grant, Sirius, Zappy and anyone I missed....

Beer O'Clock is just 6 Hours away (It's Saturday after all). Have a good party Julie, pardon my old age question but is Acid Music the same genre as Acid Rock from the 60's/70's?

I know you play Bass(but probably not as badly as I), here is a link to a young lady I believe is the best Bassist alive now, playing with Jeff Beck

Enjoy: Tal Wilkenfeld from Wiggo's neighborhood..........

She was around 18 when she played with Beck, started with Guitar at 13, mastered it got bored and moved to Bass. The clip is from I believe Guitar Fest in 2009.

Not just a C F and G with an occasional Am thrown in..........she ROCKS!

and isn't there a Sushi one where if it isn't prepared properly, can cause you death?

FUGU or Blowfish. Must have the toxin gland removed by as expert Sushi Chef to prevent contamination of the edible portion.

Hope you're feeling better StriderFin. I'm not pointing a finger of blame or naming names or anything - but the missing snow... bit too much of a coincidence don't you think? :)

I was thinking the same, and bit scared that i somehow 'lost the snow' (still very dark here, and no snow :/

Of course... I'm saying nothing :)

psst.. Rolls royce with the plow is nice but, in Finland we use traktors with real HP :)

There was lots to choose from and not by any means all raw fish either. And it was a lot of fun :)

Yes it was, and before that, Sushi to me meant raw fish, ala Danish Smorgasbord, and isn't there a Sushi one where if it isn't prepared properly, can cause you death?

cackhandedly launching pineapple and melon and stuff all over Chris. Could have been the end of a beautiful friendship :)

No fear of that folks, a quick wipe down with the London afternoon edition of the "Berks R Us" report, and we would have stoically carried on :-)

I dare say that there might well be a return visit at some point to further confuse the conveyor belt once it has sufficiently recovered!

Sounds like an I love Lucy episode. ;~}

Good Morning Grant and Gordon and anyone else 'popping' in and out......

A day to get some things done before the Christmas madness ensues. No Broncos til Monday night so the stores will be crowded with flu infected shoppers waving stolen credit card numbers..........

Like I said, a good day to stay home and get neglected things done.

I used to work in a mall, selling cameras. One busy weekend before Christmas, a Nikon F4 walked out of the store under somebody's coat. :~(

Tell you what DG, I don't shop anymore, I just send checks and they are all happy. Works for me too. Buy the wrong thing and they want to take it back. Now its all up to them. :)

I haven't been been asked to come to any parties sooooooo a long beer O'clock. :))

G'morning everyone, I hope that you've all had a good weekend.

Wow, what a weekend I had, now I suppose that I'd better do a bit of catch up domestic duties.

Sadly the mowing won't be 1 chore that'll be done today after a 20min storm late yesterday dumped 21mm here.

Beer O'clock in 4.25hrs.

Cheers.

I was watching tv and this Sushi chef was preparing that poisonous fish. I did not know that the chef was also taking his life in his own hands. If he accidently cuts his hand or finger the poison from the fish could kill him. Then before the customer eats the fish. They have to sign a waiver to not hold the restraint responsible in case of death.
