Think bigger, like a Multiverse, of course! There's another theory I do believe in. There are several Big Bangs and several Universes within a Multiverse but the question is, where does it stop? Is it infinite? Are there any borders? sigh, time to go to work... Nice post mp! Now that we know that our Universe has Higgs field od 125GeV, and that it will be stable fo 10on100 years... A question remains: - Can we simulate the Universe with lower of higher Higgs field? And see when will the field collapse... - Also, can the the "spot in background radiation" occur from the barriers of our Univers & another one "touching"? non-profit org. Well i read your link Wiggo and i have many questions about it . But basically i can't see how that theroy would work . Some one mentiond entrapy would be my first problem with this . i don't and can't see how time could run backwards as that would mean gavity would also have to run backwards or repel atoms not bring them togeather , there are way to many problems with this theory .I also don't think you need to explain the arrow of time , for the multy verse or any verse to work the arrow of time must go forward otherwise you run into the big one . cause and effect if time ran backward you would have effect then cause . As it stands the big rip is pefect the universe returns back to pure energy and then the whole thing would start again i can't see any other way it could be different . I know i have said aything is possible in a multi verse but not time going backwards that would throw a spanner in the works . As for proving there are other verses well i herd that sciencetists have found a gavity wave finally. With the spot on the background pictures of the universe and now the finding of a gavity wave the evedence is mounting that we do in fact live in a mutiverse. |
