All my machines seem to have enough work for the CPUs, but it seems that not a one of my GPUs are getting any work. I'm not active on the boards and don't get much into the details; I'm more of an "install it, set to use GPUs, and forget about it" cruncher. Are the GPU workunits just that scarce right now?I've got about 10-15 GPUs doing nothing it looks like.

Why Spock! Why!

It has been so long since I've seen a AP. When one magically appeared. I had to stop and google what it was. LOL. Still been at lest 2 1/2 or 3 months since I have seen anything on my APU.

There is only 1 MB channel and progress. They may load some more after tomorrow's maintenance period or they may be waiting for the AP channels to catch up a little bit

Looks like 07oc11af is stuck. Of course once it's done, there's no more files available for MB to be split.

So the real question here is ANYONE working on this issue, or is everyone sitting on their collective butts ? The sound of crickets is deafening, as usual

I doubt it, it's about half three in the morning there :)

And it was 3:30am all day yesterday ? This issue has been building the past few days. Easily time enough for someone to at least begin studying the issue and put out a status. Again, all we hear is crickets. And don't even start about how this is a holiday week. When people are out, you arrange to have coverage.

Everything is running fine: we're just out of data. Do you blame the automobile manufacturer if you car runs out of gas?

Data is recorded for us by the astronomers working at the Arecibo Radio Telescope in Puerto Rico. Believe it or not, the most efficient way of transferring the volumes of data recorded (several terabytes at a time) is to record it on hard drives and ship them by air. There will be a new delivery when the recording disks have filled up and been shipped, and not before. There's lots of fascinating science to do at other BOINC projects while you're waiting.

It's +30 C outside here [28.641° S, 153.608° E] -- at 2330 local! Meanwhile, back home in London it's -5 C. Supposed to be warmer (~7 C) when I get back Friday night. Hope the warmth from my three home servers has kept Jack Frost at bay -- at the moment they are all still running and reporting results.

I haven't let the car run out of gas. I'm trying to get a fill-up, and the gas station has let it's tanks run dry. Good-bye SETI, it's been fun

Seti doesn't promise that work will be available 24/7, it says on the front page:

Keep your computer busy when SETI@home has no work - participate in other BOINC-based projects.

Althrough i'd like them to just point to Choosing BOINC projects instead.

Seti has only run out of MB's and they haven't run out of data as there was a delvery of disc's not long ago . They just haven't loaded any new tapes up and the dam servers are not doing what they are spose to be doing so all is not fine

Funny how the servers say that there are more and more units in the field but NOBODY IS GETTING ANY
To lazy to go and fix it as they have the weekly shut down i just hope they fix it but won't hold my breath the way it's been going for the last 2 months is anything to go by .

You are exactly right. It's been this way for awhile now, and is the reason I'm done.
