The bar-tailed godwit has returned to our shores for another summer. The birds migrate mainly from Siberia (but some do come from Alaska and Mongolia) to southern Australia and N.Z. before returning and have been recorded flying non-stop for 11,000kms in 9 days.

Cheers.

I don't know how those little birds are able to fly so far without refueling.

Now you dont see this in Scandinavia anymore so often.

This very day I heard something like a Black Bird.
In december you normally hear crows and magpies...

Do the birds in Australia and N.Z. fly upside down?

Not that I've notice though some do like hanging upside down from their perches. :-)

Cheers.
