Can you say that, have you looked at how many people, of all races, die in police custody.

Even if you look at the worst place by percentage for deaths in police custody, Met Area, the figure for non-whites is 27.3% since 1990, but you must take into consideration that only 60% of London's population is from the British Isles. The UK's total population is split about 90/10 %.

It would appear that sometimes the figures are used by groups to bolster their own point of view. Which comes as no surprise.

Biased or unbiased is not the issue as much as disjoint. Posting incidents from a few scattered PD's, only indicates that there are racists in the world and some are police. Thought that was obvious. Posting a list from a single PD says that PD is racist. Posting a bunch from one cop says that cop is racist. Isolated incident, says nothing. Random isolated incidents might show something, but non-random selection of incidents shows nothing.

However nothing can be said until you first determine that treatment of other skin colors is different. That requires statistical analysis. I full well know that nearly everywhere it has been done, bias is shown. The only question left is have those studies only been done where there are numerous allegations of bias, or have some been done where there are no such allegations?

As to one incident on ES99's list, Mr. Garner, I love how right wing nut cases have latched on to a black female police officer being in charge to deny any hint of racism. I'll call BS on them. That study in my opening post showed that blacks can be racist against blacks. Now they have to deal with that, blacks being taught to be racist to blacks by the powers that be.

Could someone provide such statistics regarding USA? Mean numbers overall country and let say 2 states/ or towns with dominant white and dominant black (if there are such) population.

EDIT: also interesting how many cases when poor white men was killed by police officer and no charges followed. Perhaps, such cases less enlighted in media though.

Currently I would say USA's police treats live quite low looking on provided examples. Use the gun should be really last resort but seems many police officers start with gun first. Can this be connected with overall gun policy in USA that was discussed some time ago on these forums? I would say yes. Gun and its use perception in such countries as USA can be quite distorted regarding countries where free legal gun usage disallowed.
Lot of statistics needed of course, but it's just my IMO.

Surely I consider this just as one more reason (and sure it should be the right reason), but my comment was about that just to list GF of different races don't make one racist or not racist. There can be the different reasons for such diversity, I pointed only one of them that exactly opposite that you pointed.
If two opposite reasons exist for the same fact, then that fact alone can not be used to support any of them. A, hence B hence C style :)

Well one of the times it happened was in the afternoon. While my black friends would be stopped by the police on a regular basis for running for the bus, I got a ride home once for holding up a bus for over an hour after the bus conductor falsely accused me of not paying the correct fare. Have you ever been stopped by the police for running for a bus?

No, but someone who happened to be going down the sidewalk with me did get pinched. They ran the pedestrian signal, I stopped and also had seen the officer. Can't remember if it was before or after I read the newspaper article about the stepped up pedestrian safety enforcement program. They are damn righteous about safety campaigns and have zero tolerance.

Now as to me, I've been pulled over on mistaken id for a traffic ticket, and also had an officer be incorrect on my driving and even once gotten one I deserved. Now they have also tried to hang different felonies on me at various times, which I had no part in.

BTW have you ever been walking down the street and have someone lean out the window and yell the N word at you? I have. As well as a few others including honky, gringo, huerto and pimp.
