Hopefully today I can stay home in front of the TV and watch the 3rd day's play of the 3rd test here, but my little radio is ready just in case.

Cheers.

Well the radio came in handy again yesterday and it will again this afternoon, but I will get to see the whole 1st session of day 4 and the Indians have just finished their 1st innings falling 66 runs short of the Aussies.

This match should wind up as a draw, but then I said that for the last match (didn't I?).

Cheers.

We cleaned up the Indians in the test matches and ODI's this summer,

and we crushed the Poms last night in the ODI Tri-series final so,.....

Bring on the World Cup!

We're ready. :-D

Cheers.

The 2015 Cricket World Cup kicks off today (down in this neck of the world) with the Kiwis taking on Sri Lanka on their side of the Tasman in 30mins and the Aussies will be taking on the old foe (the Poms) in 6hrs down at the MCG in Melbourne. :-)

Their are a few teams missing this time around, but they're likely afraid of playing down under (or upside down as some would say). ;-)

Cheers.

Lovely. At least the England women beat the Kiwi women by 90 runs in their 2nd ODI.

Now this could get interesting :-)

Afghanistan beat UAE by 14 runs

Yes Sirius, it's 1 of the best results that those 2 unranked teams can hope for.

So far it looks like NZ (6/331) have taken care of Sri Lanka (6/185 with <12overs to go) and England may have finally acclimatised to our conditions as they're slowing us down so far at the 19th over.

Cheers.

Well Finn may have finished with a hat trick and a 5 for, but the English have to score 343 runs on the world's largest cricket stadium to beat the Aussies (today's Aussies' score was the best yet against the old foe on the MCG). ;-)

The Kiwis beat Sri Lanka by 98 runs in today's earlier game.

Cheers.

Well both home teams won today, even if the game here finished a little controversially, but the batsmen shouldn't have crossed before the umpire's finger was up.

The old foe downed by 111 runs (oh, Lord Nelson there, hey wot?).

Cheers.

Yes, they make dismal reading. To be frank, I'm totally disappointed with our "so-called" professional cricketers, they don't have the passion anymore, unlike your players.

Well the wins yesterday were not as big as the 1st 2 matches the day before.

Zimbabwe played very well until they did what they usually do, losing to many wickets towards the end of the game and not lasting the whole 50 overs, thus giving the win to Sth. Africa by 62 runs.

Pakistan was just outclassed by India, who won by 76 runs.

Only 1 match is being played today across the lake between Ireland and the West Indies which starts in around 2.5hrs.

Cheers.

Well the West Indies put in a very lackluster performance (very much like SAF's effort yesterday), but if the Irish keep going as they are, then the West Indies will be the 1st upset of the tourney.

WI - 7/304, IRL - 2/185 after 30 overs.

Cheers.

Ireland beat the West Indies by 4 wickets with just over 4 overs to spare.
