Well, running the Clean Energy Project - Phase 2 meanwhile. Was thinking to see if any "green" projects are available when I'll get a new computer and pick one with a 50/50 share with SETI, but since the new computer thing was delayed for next year that got delayed as well, so this nudged me to at least look for options now :) IF you run WCG project, why don't you run their special version of BOINC? non-profit org. There is no version 7.4 of WCG yet, while if there were, the only 'special' thing about it would be a WCG skin in simple view. The client and manager on a WCG Boinc are the same as the client and the manager on a Berkeley Boinc. |

I apologize if this has already been answered. I haven't received any work units in 2 weeks. I don't run astropulse but this is a little out of hand. Do we have an understanding of when this will be remedied? This task of looking for E.T. is always portrayed as nearly an insurmountable amount of data to pick thru. How could we have run out? Do we need a to look at some hardware upgrades(grabs wallet) to keep this from happening again? |

Question everything! But make sure not to read old news about it. ;-) We are likely to (temporarily) run out of workunits to process as soon as this weekend. Please read this recent news item from Eric Korpela for further explanation leading up to this. We are currently solving various database issues, developing a new splitter so we can start processing our Green Bank Telescope data, and hunting for tapes that haven't fully been processed to get out of the current drought. that recent news item wrote: Here's a long overdue status update that will hopefully answer some of the questions you may have about the last week. |

Hello everyone Happy New Year to all of you, ladies and gentlemen! Boinc works fine. (version 7.4.27) Work with BOINC, the computer warms me better than heating. ) And it's great! There are savings on heating resources)) I plan to connect another computer to the project, so that more of your information to process and get more heat)) One is bad, when the CPU at 100%, it consumes a lot of electricity (150 kWh/month). But I found the solution! Now consumption decreased by 50% due one clever device. ) The product made in China, and this device is legal to use! :))) What device? I will not say - this is my little secret. :) Peace be with you, Eric! |

Can someone please let me know why I cannot upload to Asteroid db? I have about 30 files waiting to be uploaded. Thanks, Gary It looks like they are down. Google Chrome could not load the webpage because asteroidsathome.net took too long to respond. The website may be down, or you may be experiencing issues with your Internet connection. |

C'mon then, why so long this week??? And the scheduler doesn't seem to be accepting connections from this side of the pond. Edit: now updated to 13/01/2015 23:29:07 | SETI@home | Scheduler request failed: HTTP internal server error |
