I've run into this just recently when I have more than 1 project on a computer.

I don't know if this is something new that BOINC has added.

You are sharing time with other projects for your computer.

BOINC sees that the other projects have a higher priority for your computer so it is telling Seti that it doesn't need any work.

There isn't any work now anyway so it doesn't make much of a difference but once work starts again you might have to suspend those other

projects to get Seti to run or decrease the value of those projects.

I just removed any other projects and run Seti and then if I need to go back to another then I add them again

Hope this helps.

Google Translate

Thanks, I didn't realized that I was typing in Dutch, lol.
I always have more then one project running and it's the first time I see this.
This is since the new version of boinc.

Google translate was terrible :)

That's because it wasn't Dutch but South-African.

So this should be closer to accurate.

I have tried it but I'm still getting this respond.
If I try another project the same.
At this moment I can only do 7 projects but I want to do 8 but none of them wants to give me something.

Perhaps I should go back to the previous boinc version.

The client will only request work from the project that has the highest debt, unless it has just asked that project (definition of just asked is variable and complicated). It probably also means that it does not really need work very badly at the moment.

Found it.

Don't ask for new work on all projects except one and the problem is gone.
If you want work from two or more projects then just ask one by one and suspend the request for work on the others.

Such micro-management shouldn't be necessary if you set your resource shares appropriately and let BOINC handle project debts.
