I hear Bruno had signed his donor card, so, he will probably live on.
I was just looking at some of the postings, Scientific Linux Stuck CPU seems to be a long list of possibilities. Just for the heck of it I installed the intel-microcode in my Ubuntu systems, it just seemed it was the right thing to do...

Do I have to become religious to get some AP's, or what?

Nope, You just to have to be lucky to get resends. :)

Eric did post "Turns out we had run up against another informix limit. I'm resolving that, but it's looking like we are only 1/8th of the way done after 24 hours. Until it's done we won't be able to generate Astropulse work." at 9 Nov 2014, 0:15:29 UTC, so we have to wait until that problem is solved.

Yes, I get resends from time to time, and I yes, did read what Eric posted. I just tried to get some humour into this waiting period, but obviously it fell on deaf ears.
Yeah well.....

Yep, we Finns, Your dearly neighbors, are deaf :)

Yep.. my stockpile of re-sends is running out. I might be able to continue crunching them for another 4 days or so, and then I'm waiting for more just like everyone else.

Looking over at the SSP though, it's going to be a massive AP feast/frenzy for at least 7 straight days, as long as nothing else goes wrong after AP comes back online.

I was going to suggest that you may need to anoint your processors in holy thermal compound, but I guess the moment has passed.

It looks like I've been getting about 20 AP v7 resends a day across my machines. Which have been going to my Teir 3 and slower machines.

I will say though.. at least for me, since the maintenance this week, all of the pages on this site have been very snappy and responsive. They're done loading practically before I'm done clicking.

I've been thinking the same thing, but didn't want to mention it for fear of causing it all to come crashing down again.
So if it does, it's your fault.

Looks like the stats are being exported again, at least to boincstats.com. Everyone should be having quite a payday and perhaps adding a new day to their "Best ten day" list shortly.

Whi;st account pages are loading, it appears task pages aren't, at the moment, so I fear the dreaded gremlins strike again ;-)

This is a new feature of BOINC, the BOINC Anticipatory Browsing Experience, or BABE. All BOINC users now have a BABE.

And before I get into trouble, might I add this: ;)

I lay on my chest and I thought it best
To pretend I was having a evening rest;
I lay on my tum and I tried to hum
But nothing particular seemed to come.
My face was flat on the floor, and that
Is all very well for an acrobat;

But it doesn't seem fair to a Friendly Bear
To stiffen him out with a basket-chair.
And sort of squoze which grows and grows
Is not too nice for his poor old nose,
And sort of squch is much to much
For his neck and his mouth and his ears and such.

What do I wonder?
Hmm, I wonder that too...

I decided last night to stop wondering myself and it works!

It would be nice, if given the size of the project, they would use more than a semi-toy database. Like one originally designed for commercial use. I'm sure they could get a donation from someone, somewhere. I just wish I had one to give them.

The software is available... as we know, the FBI tracks and records every byte transmitted on the internet and the CIA records and stores all phone calls, cellular and landline and runs real-time analysis to determine threat level.

Seti@Home is done out of a closet

The way it's been going lately, it will soon be done out of a toilet.

Unfortunately, they have LARGE Buildings, filled with Hardware.

Was, now it is in a data center with a Gigabyte connection to the internet.
