That reminds me... I saw a hawk swoop down and grab a squirrel the other day. That is extremely unusual around me.

You see them here a plenty either picking up rabbits or mice off the ground or smearing themselves across my window here after plucking sparrows out of the air (1 day I reckon that I'll be wearing 1 of them in my lap, along with broken glass).

That they do, and they even keep a hold on them when they hit the glass (they do look funny spread all over the window though, after you get over the shock of noise of impact). :-O
