The SETI Server was "Down For Maintenance" several days ago. Since then although the SETI database has correctly recorded my credits here at SETI, those Credits have not yet appeared on the BOINC site nor the allprojects database either. It would be good if someone could advise whether the problem is at SETI or the other websites. My guess is that the SETI site is the problem, the data not being exported correctly. I would have expected that a responsible person at SETI could have advised what the problem is, and the expected date, month or year it may be corrected. We are all volunteers in this project. My power Account extra for running SETI at home 24/7/365 is some NZ$100 plus per month, which is appreciable portion of my pension - That's why I don't make a direct "Donation" to SETI. So, folks, how about some Feedback re the problem. Kind regards from New Zealand. [img][/img][img][/img] |

Sadly one of the servers here has been having some issues, I'm guessing the export of the stats every day was probably one of the many things it did. There's some more info about it here. The export of the stats always does eventually get fixed, it just takes some time while they fix the more critical stuff, which doesn't go unnoticed :) Member of the People Encouraging Niceness In Society club. |

My guess is that the SETI site is the problem, the data not being exported correctly. No need to guess Every time you see such problem look here: http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/stats/ As you see files are from 03-Nov-2014 The same link on other projects: http://wuprop.boinc-af.org/stats/ http://www.enigmaathome.net/stats/ http://asteroidsathome.net/boinc/stats/ http://milkyway.cs.rpi.edu/milkyway/stats/ http://aerospaceresearch.net/constellation/stats/ http://boinc.bakerlab.org/rosetta/stats/ http://climateapps2.oerc.ox.ac.uk/cpdnboinc/stats/ http://boinc.thesonntags.com/collatz/stats/ Â Â - ALF - "Find out what you don't do well ..... then don't do it!" :) Â |
