TBar, This is what happens when I reset my memory clock. In the lower portion you can see that it has been reset, but in the upper portion it still shows the original 1500. I also reset the gpu clock +5 to try and force the change. So I assume the change has been made or it can't be made. In gpu-z it still shows 1500. In msi-afterburner it shows the change made to 1400 but in its graph it still shows the 1500. So go figure? [/img] merle - vote yes for freedom of speech |

Use only one program to change those GPU Settings (else they will fight - like using two wheels in the same car to turn left/right) If you do changes in MSI Afterburner then uncheck 'Enable Graphics OverDrive' on this CCC page you posted (then use this page only to monitor, not to change) Â - ALF - "Find out what you don't do well ..... then don't do it!" :) Â |

Use only one program to change those GPU Settings (else they will fight - like using two wheels in the same car to turn left/right) It should show the change in the other programs right after you hit the Apply button in CCC. If it doesn't, reboot the computer and check it again. |

I has a problem with the memory adjustment not working on my HD 5750. I set it to minimum, applied it, waited for it to show in GPUz, & then moved it back up to the value I wanted. Probably a bug in the GUI. I would guess related to the occasional crashing of CCC. Appears to be another bug. I don't have that problem on one machine with XP or Vista. But on the other machine with 8.1 it shows the same. You make the change but nothing shows it changed. Kinda makes things difficult. |

I've run 2 MB thru the gpu now on Seti. The single wu goes thru 5-7 minutes. merle - vote yes for freedom of speech |

I can adjust the memory clock upwards to 1505 and it will stick on gpu-z. I tried to adjust it all the way down Hal but it didn't work. merle - vote yes for freedom of speech |

It means it's the first time this particular driver and application version combination has run, the binary cache files are not found and are therefore being regenerated. thanks Wedge009 merle - vote yes for freedom of speech |
