So I haven't done a ton of testing yet, but at some point I get errors and slowdowns due to display driver resets when running lunatics with and without command lines. One way I fixed it was by reverting to stock. But now I've also tried setting tdrlevel to zero and it looks like I've been able to go back to lunatics with command lines. I should mention this last tip was mentioned by HAL9000. I was going to let my RAC level out before trying to run multiple WUs.

Merle can you do some of us a favour and reply after the quote instead of before it? (it would make those posts a lot easier for some of us to read) ;-)

Cheers.

About "those 30 pulse Overflows are usually associated with Overheating or Overclocking"
it may help if you post what you see in SIV, like this:
Memory GPU 82% GPU Utilisation Volts Temp Fans
GPU-0 1.05GHz P2 800MHz Activity 82% 1.06 43°C 15%

Use the [Copy] button in SIV, Paste in Notepad and then Copy only the lines about the GPU

Yes, sure but I'm over in Einstein now. When I come back to seti. I can't leave seti, everybody has been so much help and I'm already attached to them. A group like Einstein is good science but not so much on the social and help side.

Well I tried to click the X button to close that. I should go back to bed... if only I wasn't at work. Defiantly going to one of those kind of days.

Message 1593499 - Posted: 28 Oct 2014, 13:42:55 UTC - in response to Message 1593489.

The only two values that I see (for now) as some trouble:

A) PSU +5.04 +11.67

I'm not sure if +11.67 is in the safe margin for +12 V from PSU
(my show PSU +4.90 +12.30)
Check also this value when computer is idle.

B) Row Cycle Time (tRC) 37 1T
This is about system RAM
1T is the 'Command Rate (CR)'

If the computer have habit to hang or crash - change in BIOS - in RAM Settings/Timings:
Command Rate (CR)     2T

P.S.
Next time you may use Alt+PrintScreen to copy only the active window
(now you used only PrintScreen and then needed to cut/crop the picture)

They have a snipping tool in accessories. No more cut/crop.

Also, from toms hardware -- the bottom line is the most important.

You don't even need to do that, In SIV clip Copy, or Copy Bitmap, then paste and save in your favourite Paint program:
