I read on a site somewhere that Ebola was invented by governments because virusses are a very lucrative business.

They said the same about AIDS.

You can read just about anything you want on the internet, but that doesn't make it true.

Like I have read that the flight MH370 Boeing 777 was flown somewhere to an Islamic state where it is being prepared for the next round of major terrorist strikes somewhere in the west. Like with the man made viruses it could be true but it is unlikely.

+1 A lot of people believe the BS on internet tho. Like the story about that guys who wanted a child as his last meal before he got executed. Practically every colleague at work who read the story, believed it. I also once believed a story about Vin Diesel who supposedly died... The internet is a very dangerous place I say.

Ebola outbreak: Cases pass 10,000, WHO reports

The number of cases in the Ebola outbreak has exceeded 10,000, with 4,922 deaths, the World Health Organization says in its latest report.

Only 27 of the cases have occurred outside the three worst-hit countries, Sierra Leone, Liberia and Guinea.

Those three countries account for all but 10 of the fatalities.

Mali became the latest nation to record a death, a two-year-old girl. More than 40 people known to have come into contact with her have been quarantined.

'Is' 'It' 'Me'? Do Health Care Workers 'Seem' Extremely Selfish. The One 'Thrown' In Isolation in NJ Today, sho 'is' throwin' A Hissy Fit.

Every Health Care Worker Contracting OEbola seems To Have Been, Uh, Non-Caring To The Public At Large.

Hey, Don't Get ME WRONG, I was ahem 'Married' Leagally to An RN for 'bout 10 Years, and My Spouse, The RN, 'seemed' Really Nice and Caring.

But, These Extremely 'Edumacated' Individuals 'seem' To 'Think', 'I'll Go 'bout MY BUSINESS, 'cause' I KNOW BETTER THAN THE PUBLIC.

Hmmmm. Seems Something 't'aint Right 'bout These Smart Caring People.

Why Not 'Treat'(heeeheeehee-I Said Treat) 21 Days Of Iso as JURY DUTY. You Know, YOUR DUTY TO THE PUBLIC.

Oh Well.

Carry On OEbola. Infect Whom You May.

Interesting...

Ebola found to be at least 16 to 23 million years old, according to study

LONDON: A new study has re-written Ebola's family history.

Ebola's evolutionary roots more ancient than previously thought, the study has found.

The family of viruses housing Ebola and Marburg is ancient, and the two viruses last shared a common ancestor millions of years ago, scientists say.

The research shows that filoviruses — a family to which Ebola and its similarly lethal relative, Marburg, belong — are at least 16-23 million years old.

Update on Craig Spencer.

New York Ebola Patient Craig Spencer Receives Blood From Writebol

A doctor in New York City who was diagnosed with Ebola received a plasma transfusion from Nancy Writebol, an aid worker who contracted the deadly disease in Africa and survived.

Dr. Craig Spencer, who recently returned from treating Ebola patients in Africa with Doctors Without Borders and was diagnosed in New York Thursday, received the transfusion at Manhattan’s Bellevue Hospital Friday, the hospital said in a statement. The Christian organization that Writebol worked with, SIM, confirmed the donation Saturday.

"I am praying for Dr. Spencer's recovery and am happy to be able to donate blood," Writebol said.

Really? Is that strong cheese by any chance on the list of illegal products? (LOL)

[edit]Seriously now, maybe that pic isn't correct but I think governments and pharmaceutical industries see the 'disease business' as very lucrative.

Hmm, we haven't concentrated on the economical facts of Ebola iirc

Well, patents for "treatments" run for 2 years, patents for "cures" run 5, patents for "vaccines" run 25. Give them a good swift kick in the ethics.

US$200M Needed To Fight Ebola

Comment from a Liberian on the article:

Here we go again. What happened to the surplus? You mean we were only running the country on borrowed time and one crisis and we are broke? All the money that is coming in is for Ebola so what happened to the other money that was already there to pay workers and government's obligations. I bet the Senators and ministers salaries are still flowing.

Number of new cancer cases in US per year is 1.6M
Assume cost of famed suppressed cure is $1000.
Estimated revenue per year would be $1.6 billion.
About 8M cases of cancer world wide per year, predicted to rise to 22M over the next 10 years.
There would be vast profits to be made if we really had a cure. And you can be sure that the pharma companies will charge a lot more than $1000!
So its nonsense to think that there is a cure which is being suppressed.
Plus cancer care costs in the US are about $86 billion, not $160 billion.
Statistics sourced from ACS and WHO web sites.

Well, we already knew that. Remember what I said about the doctor that came back from there? All the money they get goes to buying soldiers and weapons to keep the current government from being overthrown. No money ever makes it way to the hospital for disinfectants, gloves, gowns, etc.

People over there are not 'cultivated' enough over there (don't want to sound like Steiner) to think in long terms, very sadly in this case but in all governments over the world 'missteps' are committed. In Liberia it is on a limited scale with no big impact on the world population though, which is good.
