Cricket just took a huge dive. Expect snow, hail, and thunderstorms.

EDIT: And then it recovered soon after.

The techs need to stop tripping over those loose network cables.

And the BOINC dev boards are down.

Yeah everything http://boinc.berkeley.edu related looks to be down at the moment. Should we put bets on if Dr. Anderson is playing with something again?

The BOINC domain is back. Apparently the server had rebooted itself unexpectedly. So something for the techs to look into Monday.

As I write this there are 4 channels left for AP work & 463 channels left for MB work I wonder whether or not more APS will be loaded after Wednesday's (New Zealand) maintenance period Tuesday Berkely time or whether they will just run MB. I also noticed there is a few small tape loaded at the moment 01jn14ac 2.01 & 26fe14ac 6.02 GB. I gather the reason why these are so small in size is because of the end of the run

Scheduler appears to be misbehaving again.
So far, it's responding. But even though I've reported over 8 WUs on several different Scheduler contacts, it keeps telling me i've reached the server side limit- even though it hasn't supplied any WUs on the report/request new work contacts.
Just had a look at my account, and I'm about 35 WUs short of my limit.

Nah, just to many VLAR's being pumped out ATM and not enough other types to keep our GPU cache happy Grant. :-(

Cheers.

Ah, it's a shame that the older cards have such an issue with VLARs. My GTX 750Tis actually do better with the longer running WUs than with what were once shorties.

If you mean those messages I highlighted. Then they are nothing new. I have a whole log full of "Tasks for AMD/ATI GPU are available, but your preferences are set to not accept them" messages on a host with no ATI GPU.
Also sometimes I get the message about "there is no usable entry for Astropulse v7" in your app_info.xml on MB only machines or the opposite on AP only machines.

Happy with my 72 V7's:)

Are they AP's or MB's Julie?

I've 700 of the MB type on hand myself (I've yet to setup for V7 AP's yet). ;-)

Cheers.

I'll take what ever I can get, lol....Keep getting the following

10/28/2014 5:17:32 PM | SETI@home | Scheduler request failed: HTTP internal server error

Already run out of work units on 1 machine, the other only as 100 left and that won't last too long. It's starting to get cold in here..Need to find a jacket. I can hear the case starting to creak from contracting as the GPUs shut down. If this goes on too long I might have to shift to my back up project ;)

I remember saying it with AP 5, AP 6, and now also with AP 7:

I need some AP's :-)

I would like some too.
Just to make sure the new app is working as it should before release.
It seems i need more patience.

Is the latest BOINC worse compared to v6.10.60 when requesting work? No problem for v6 requesting work, there's no work available but it works, v7, which I've installed during the outage, keeps getting the HTTP error, no single time have the request gone through.
