Now change to unroll 12. Unroll 12 worked, http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/result.php?resultid=3880847394, but I will run couple more tasks to be sure. After that, if no problems, should I increase it to 14? "Please keep Your signature under four lines so Internet traffic doesn't go up too much" - In 1992 when I had my first e-mail address - |

Now change to unroll 12. Yes. After a few completed task try unroll 16. Then we change ffa_block values. With each crime and every kindness we birth our future. |

Hey Mike, maybe you know the answer to this while we're on the topic of configuring GPUs. I asked what commands I should use for a GT 730 here: Ok, I'm using this. I installed the GT 730 tonight and am starting to process some tasks. I freed one core on the i3 2100 (dual core with hyper-threading). What I can tell so far in MSI Afterburner is that it is stable at 75% GPU usage |

Now change to unroll 12. Ok, unroll 16 works fine. So, running now -ffa_block 2830 -ffa_block_fetch 2830 How much do I increase those values? "Please keep Your signature under four lines so Internet traffic doesn't go up too much" - In 1992 when I had my first e-mail address - |

Now change to unroll 12. Try -ffa_block 5660 -ffa_block_fetch 2830. If you experience lags go back to unroll 14. You might end up with unroll 14 but bigger ffa_block values. With each crime and every kindness we birth our future. |

Try -ffa_block 5660 -ffa_block_fetch 2830. Thanks Mike. Could You provide more -ffa values to test (and -unroll) so I don't have to bother You every time when I need to change values to test my host. Are my switches for the 730 looking ok so far? GPU usage is stable in the range of 75-80% I left it processing overnight. |

Try -ffa_block 5660 -ffa_block_fetch 2830. O.K. Here a few values to test. -ffa_block 5660 -ffa_block_fetch 5660 -ffa_block 6144 -ffa_block_fetch 3072 -ffa_block 6144 -ffa_block_fetch 6144 -ffa_block 8192 -ffa_block_fetch 4096 First try those with -unroll 16. If one doesn`t work try with -unroll 14 or -unroll 12. With each crime and every kindness we birth our future. |

Oh I thought the commands affected multibeam as well. I'll let you know about the 550 Ti once I get back to Ottawa from break :) |

Are there any further changes I should do to the 730? I have to make the change before I leave on Sunday. Thanks and happy new year :D |

Do you think my 550 Ti machine is doing ok as well? I've haven't tinkered with it in a while. One core on an E6600 is free and the 550 Ti crunches two tasks. Hey Mike, I'm back in Ottawa, looking at the 550 Ti's command line: -unroll 4 -ffa_block 2048 -ffa_block_fetch 1024 -hp Whatever I said above was wrong. I'm going to put the line you suggested in. |

I've a question for you 750ti users. I know they're small and importantly they're bus powered. Do you think I could stuff one (or a couple) in a Dell PowerEdge 1950? ~W |

What is your final configuration of the command line for that GT 730? Just asking as there maybe other that could benefit from what you decided on the final config. Zalster |

I'm still using -use_sleep -unroll 4 -oclfft_plan 256 16 512 on the 730. I don't think it has much room for improvement with two compute units, and I'm fairly sure one task at a time is best. It's this MSI one: http://www.msi.com/product/vga/N730K-1GD5LPOC.html Small core clock boost with fast 1 gb of memory |

Hey Mike, do you think the run time on my 550 Ti is any faster with those commands? |

Hey Mike, do you think the run time on my 550 Ti is any faster with those commands? Its not bad but you have big variation in processing time. This is probably related to your 2 core CPU. Increase ffa_block to 8192 and ffa_block_fetch to 4096. With each crime and every kindness we birth our future. |

I've a question for you 750ti users. One (or a couple) of these might fit. I just put one into an OptiPlex 745 small form factor and it fits and runs fine. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127836 |

I've a question for you 750ti users. Well hello! That looks as if it'll do the job spiffingly! I'll have to double check the thickness of the heatsink & fan but that could be a winner. AND they sell it through the UK store. Assuming, as was mentioned in the other thread, that it's a x16 slot... ~W |
