I think her Hubbie got home and he had to get out of Dodge quick. :O

Cable guy fell out window. Clothes ripped off during rescue. Watertight! :)

Or;
Cable guy jumps out of window to escape crazy woman after his clothes were ripped off (we have a couple of those here). ;-)

Beer O'clock in 2hrs and the last load of washing is about to be put on the line.

Cheers.

Had a McChicken before taking my evening nap tonight, and dreamed I was Frasier Crane's chauffeur. Not sure the connection, but it was a mighty tasty sandwich. :~)

It's dark outside, and I'm at work now; peaceful.

:))) Interesting connection, Gordon.

I had a Mcdonalds hot chocolate today. *struggle to suppress wrinkling nose* Do they wave the chocolate in the general direction of the hot water more than once in the States do you know?

Erm... *dredge for polite way of putting it* they definitely succeeded in leaving a lot of room for improvement... and indeed chocolate... in the substance I was given today :)

I've never ordered a hot chocolate from McD's. I used to like their coffee actually, before they started trying to get fancy.

On the notion of hot chocolate, though, I have a few packs of instant here at work, and sometimes brew a shot or two espresso to throw in. Gives it a nice kick. ;~}

Well, Grant, a few years ago it seems like MCd's wanted to try to start doing specialty coffee drinks and that's when just their basic cup o' joe changed for me, too. It used to have a good rich basic flavor, and now it just tastes different. Something changed.

Dog & I spent a few nice quiet hours (quiet when I wasn't going for a beer or relief anyway) down at the pub this afternoon.

@ Annie, oh yes, I remember that night and the 12' ladder the next day (not to mention the bed repairs). :-O

Sorry guys, but I don't care much for anything McD's here.

Cheers.

I've heard that McD's serves beer in some countries. Not sure I would try a McBeer, but their fries still measure up in my book.

G'morning Julie, I can guarantee that I'll be well and truly asleep by then, but I hope that you have as good a day as I've had though. ;-)

I shudder to think what that beer would taste like Gordon. :-O

I hope that you're still taking it easy there Grant. :-)

Cheers.

I don't know if you all had Grimace and The Hamburglar and all those McDonaldland characters over there in the 70's, but I just had this image of them all hangin' out, drinking McBeers.

In the UK all McDonalds are franchises which means that the individual manager has some sway in how their outlet is run, provided that they keep up the brand name standard. If you felt that this particular place served weak watery chocolate, I would drop a short line to the manager, alerting them to it. They may have a new employee learning the ropes, as most of the summer vacation students are back at College or Uni.

G'day Chris, they're mainly franchises here too, but they're tightly controlled by the Australian HQ and its sales office, quality control and distribution systems, so 1 McD is pretty much the same as any other no matter where you go around the country down here.

Cheers.
