What the heck is going on here??? I can't seem to download any work units.... I've successfully connected to the project <B><I>(FINALLY)[/i][/b] but every time it goes to download work units, it requests units but the scheduler says "Message from Server:Not sending work - Last RPC too recent: seconds"

What the devil is going on? Are we EVER going to be able to download work units??? This is getting HIGHLY aggravating!

FWIW, I'm running BOINC Beta 3.19 "M1 Release" on Win2k Pro with 512 MB RAM on a P3/800 (or so) CPU.

The project is currently unable to keep up with demand.

First, the project is short on WU. Second, there is a 10 minimum timeout between retries to avoid spamming the server. The retries should back off to more than 10 minutes after a couple of automatic retries. Stay away from the Update button, as this will just restart the clock.

One option is to attach to another project as well as S@H in order to crunch more of the time. http://predictor.scripps.edu/ is running a public alpha test.
