Did someone say they wanted something HOT?? No, I didn't. I was just citing an example. I can't stand hot stuff like that. Last night I gave away my coupon for two free Hardee's spicy chickens after Hardee's refused to let me have regular chickens. Did someone say they wanted something HOT?? My Nephew eats jalapenos raw, He'd probably find these to be fairly tame. The T1 Trust, PRR T1 Class 4-4-4-4 #5550, 1 of America's First HST's |

Did someone say they wanted something HOT?? They wouldn't let you substitute? That's silly. I guess it would have thrown their inventory out of whack. The mind is a weird and mysterious place |

You usually find that the freebie coupons are only for a line that isn't selling very well, to boost its sales. Hence the old phrase "No such thing as a free lunch"! Or they want to change people into ordering a high profit margin item, such as taking chicken out and adding fillers and spices to replace it. |

Along the same lines, I picked up two Milky Ways at Walgreens recently, and the cashier pointed over at a bin and asked if I'd like the "three for two-priced" candy bars instead. I thought that was kind of odd, so I said, no, I like Milky Ways. The mind is a weird and mysterious place |

You will usually find that cashiers are on commission for every "promotion" that there is that week. That actually never occurred to me, but it sounds plausible. The mind is a weird and mysterious place |

You usually find that the freebie coupons are only for a line that isn't selling very well, to boost its sales. Hence the old phrase "No such thing as a free lunch"! The thing in this case is, the regular chicken was the freebie the week before. The remaining three are all breakfast: monster biscuit, chicken biscuit, and biscuit and gravy. I'm not fond of biscuit and gravy, but I'll eat it for free. The real thing I think they're going for is to get you to buy something else to go with your free stuff. Most weeks, I did, but not always. David Sitting on my butt while others boldly go, Waiting for a message from a small furry creature from Alpha Centauri. |

Anybody remember the Wonka bar that was supposed to be three meals in a bar, but the blueberry pie part turned Violet into a giant blueberry? The mind is a weird and mysterious place |

Good choices there, Bob. I think the Butterfinger is probably the worst on the teeth, however. The mind is a weird and mysterious place |

My father was a dentist and he always thought that Sugar Daddy pops were the worst candies out there in terms of dental hygiene. They last a long time in the mouth and bits and pieces can get stuck in your teeth. In addition, Sugar Daddy pops are both hard and sticky, so they have greater potential to extract loose fillings. |

I am surprised, I really thought it Oh I know what that is. Yes, it is addictive. Speaking of addictive does anyone remember Lowney's Caravan ? That was, and still is my favorite bar. Sadly Lowney was Borg'd by Hershey and their products disappeared. I know you still have the recipes Hershey! Bring it Back ! mambo |
