The Milky Way is my favorite candy bar. I've loved it all my life. It's got a malty nougat, with caramel, covered in milk chocolate. They even have a dark chocolate version, called a Milky Way Midnight. As with many things in life, I think there's a UK version which is a little different. ;~}

Twix is good, too, when I want some crunch. Never been a big Snickers fan, even though I like peanuts. I've been wanting to find a Mars bar ever since the Curiosity Rover landed, but oddly there's none anywhere around here! I've heard the deep-fried Mars bar is very popular in the UK.

What's your favorite(s)?

Hershey's milk chocolate. I don't have refined taste and the cheap stuff is fine with me. Most of the time I eat it in Kisses but for Halloween I get about 100 candy bars to give out and what ever is left over is mine.

A plain old-fashioned Hershey's milk chocolate bar is fine with me, too, and I have a special place for the Special Dark. We always get the Hersey's assorted miniatures for the trick or treaters.

Mostly north of the border in Scotland, where I have seen them on the menu in fish and chip shops. You need the high temperature fryers to quickly fry the coating without melting the chocolate.

My personal favorite is the Payday. Not available in Canada, so I look forward to my visits to the US. Yanks, don't let anybody tell you that the US never contributed anything worthwhile to global culture.

And deep fried Mars bars are available in a few places in Canada. Usually served by food trucks, I call them A Little Bit of Heaven on a Paper Plate.

Snickers is not my favorite. But it's the one that available most of the time.

If they were available, I'd pick a Baby Ruth, Butterfinger, or Mars first.

I like 3 Musketeers, and Milky Way Dark; sometimes Kit-Kat bars. (I've never heard of Milky Way called Midnight; just Dark.)

When I go to the movies; however, I like Sweet-Tarts.

That's kind of like a Butterfinger, isn't it?

My grandfather used to horde Kit-Kats. He never ate them, he just bought them all the time, and whenever we went to visit him, he'd give me a couple packs. I guess I got tired of them, because I haven't had one in ages.

I'd have to say Twix is my favorite, at least right now. Second would probably be Reese's.

My taste is slightly refined, so I recognize Hershey's as cheap, but I eat it anyway. However, if I'm going for a plain milk bar, Dove is better. Never cared for Special Dark; it tastes more bitter to me even than other dark bars of the same or higher cacao content.

Raspberry Frangos are good too.

(Mind you, I should not eat it at all. My doctor would disapprove.)

Deep fried Mars Bars are very popular in certain parts of Scotland, where the desire to suffer both tooth decay and blocked arteries from the same "food stuff" is prevalent. Or as the sauce of jokes by third rate comedians wishing to....
