Aren't they not yet fixed. ?!

Nope. Still got

at the top of the Number crunching forum page.

One last obscure & entirely cosmetic little bug. Apologies if it's been mentioned.

There are times when I hover my mouse over the HOME/PARTICIPATE/ABOUT links bar (both on top AND on the bottom) where each "box" will get a pixel or two wider at the bottom. Unfortunately it doesn't happen often and though I've tried to recreate it I haven't figured out how.

Happened again. Here's what I mean:

Unable to figure out what triggers it though :(

It looks like an error reading the css. Where the underline command seems to have gone wonky.
Does the same thing happens to users name, message numbers, or any other text when you mouse over, or do they get underlined?

ATM they are getting underlined when I hover. Will double-check whenever I accidentally stumble across the behavior again, for a definitive answer to that.

Got a lot of computing errors on the AP's, RAC's on the low side too...

Those errors are associated with the new AP App in Lunatics 0.42 and the Older cards. Did you just update your App? You can cure it by going back to the Older AP App in Lunatics 0.42a.
It won't help your RAC though...

Umm, what constitutes "Older"? GT8800? GTX6XX? I still have GT9800s, a GTX214(PCI) and GTX250s...

If your GPU is having issues with the r2399 GPU app then you would want to revert back to the older app. Which is in the v0.42a package. Details can be found in the Lunatics Windows Installer v0.42 Release Notes thread.

OK, thanx for the link, it will take some time to go through it but it looks like quite a bit of very useful info.

They fixed the validator.

See:)

Sorry, Julie, but from where I sit it failed again after about 30 minutes. Waiting for validation rising again.

It looks like it hasn't completely gone OTL. Over the past hour my AP valid have gone from 130 to 147. That trickle could stop at any time I expect.

Yes, with more data this morning the slope of the graph is lower, so it may be still processing but at a lower rate than results are returned.

Same as it was last night. My Linux Host seems to be validating normally. My Win 8.1 Host has a large back load of 'AP Validation pending (81) · Valid (21)'. My OSX 9.5 Host has a ridiculous backlog of 'AP Validation pending (428) · Valid (58)'. The OSX Host is usually around AP Validation pending (120). I have about 300 AP WUs hung up on that one Host.

The numbers are still climbing and are now back where they were before someone delivered that rather wimpy kick yesterday. We need a bigger kick...

Which browser do you use?
Does it happen in other browser?

I bet it is Chrome 37 which have some bad issues, e.g. this one:
"Large number of bookmarks on "bookmarks bar" causes slow tab switching":
https://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=409126

He, he! Same same but different ;)

I'm using IE11 but unfortunately IE has been trying to be like Chrome for years now. Chrome is downright frustrating on my netbook and FF is downright unusable. Opera - out of the question for a number of reasons I can't even be bothered to recollect. IE8 was the best browser so far, for my little cruncher. It never went "Ooops!"

All these modern browsers seem to be going so fast that they are tripping over themselves and crashing all the time:( I preferred the old days where you'd wait a few milliseconds more, but at least get to where you actually wanted to go.

Oh, and your Hilary seems to think I'm running Netscape!:D

It is still alive. It is just lurching along very very slowly.

Here on the Right Coast it's 1630 on the last workday of the week. The AP WUs awaiting Validation is approaching LEO;

While my previous Front Page Mac is now in Full Free Fall;
AP Validation pending (491) · Valid (30)
I suppose by tomorrow the Valids will be near ZERO as it reaches Terminal Velocity.

Is there any Hope for this thing...anyone?

Just checked & no issues this end. Could it be a browser issue?

Not sure if it has been mentioned here, but the donation page has issues too.

My very first report to the crew (24 September) included

sah_donate.php
Warning: mysql_query(): Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock' (2) in /disks/carolyn/b/home/boincadm/projects/sah/html/seti_boinc_html/sah_donate.php on line 17 Warning: mysql_query(): A link to the server could not be established in /disks/carolyn/b/home/boincadm/projects/sah/html/seti_boinc_html/sah_donate.php on line 17 Warning: mysql_num_rows() expects parameter 1 to be resource, boolean given in /disks/carolyn/b/home/boincadm/projects/sah/html/seti_boinc_html/sah_donate.php on line 18

That was fixed the same day, and the page looks clean here. What are you still seeing - and how?

Edit - OK, user_donation.php ('click here to see a list of your donation(s)') has

Notice: Undefined index: 6 in /disks/carolyn/b/home/boincadm/projects/sah/html/seti_boinc_html/user_donation.php on line 79

and donation_history.php ('SETI@home Donation History Since 1 Oct 2012') has

Notice: Undefined variable: totalarray in /disks/carolyn/b/home/boincadm/projects/sah/html/seti_boinc_html/donation_history.php on line 183
Notice: Undefined index: 102012 in /disks/carolyn/b/home/boincadm/projects/sah/html/seti_boinc_html/donation_history.php on line 183

and many repeats. I'll deal with those in the morning - it's been a long and tiring week. Please help both me and David by giving that sort of detail in your reports.

Hmmmm...
My Mac now says;
Validation pending (518) · Valid (26)
Seems to be still going Down. A little while ago I decided to switch over to Ubuntu on the Mac to see if I could score a few points. It appeared OSX would run out before the next download, so, early on the 30th I downloaded a few APs to Ubuntu and ran a few. Not a single AP completed in Ubuntu on the 30th has Validated. None. Ubuntu says;
Validation pending (21) · Valid (0)
Not very encouraging...
