Well, it's been awhile since I've posted in here... I've not lost anymore weight since last post; however, for grins and giggles I tried on a smaller pair of jeans today. I'm NOW in Size 44 Jeans!!!!! :-) (Down from Size 46.) So, while I haven't lost lbs. I've lost inches! :-) So, Atkins is still working. :-)

Congratz TL, Me I haven't gained any either.

NOT gaining weight and having clothes just fit right is a good feeling. :-)

I bought some 35 calorie bread the other day, and it's not too bad. It's a little smaller than normal bread and definitely less dense, but ok tasting.

70 a slice is as low as I can find, I recently switched super markets, from
Stater Bros to Food4Less, costs for bread that I prefer are $3.59 vs $0.99 per
loaf and the crust isn't tough on the less expensive bread, same amount of
calories per slice @ 70 too. Of course during checkout I do have to bag the
groceries Myself now.

The mart carts there are charged @ F4L, and no worse than almost anywhere else,
though I can say they are better charged than one other chain (---*----), but
that chains mart carts are so old that they need replacement, 550lb capacity,
yeah right, I have to move forward(jerking the cart) in the seat just to get the
underpowered carts to move forward, but then the carts there are not always charged.

The 35 calorie slice bread brand I found is called Aunt Millie's Whole Grain. It was $3.39, and has more slices than most loaves.

I may have to look on the labels here later to see what they really do say.

The nutrition label says 70 calories per serving, but that's for two slices. The wrapper boldly advertises itself as 35 calories.

Yeah I looked that up here, it's what is on the bread that I bought, that I'll have to look at later.

There I go 205 pounds and counting. Wow, most of my
old business suits are starting to fit again. I still
have good colour, my posture and walking have improved
to where I am operating at a similar speed as when I
was fifteen years younger.

Did my duty today... Just got back from my 30 Min. Treadmill walk at 2.9 mph. Burned 166 Cal. :-O :-)

Will weigh myself this coming Saturday and see if the scale has moved, yet.

I look around to poke a little fun at My own expense, and I can't catch a break.

Still 205 pounds, now my old dark blue business suit
fits like a glove. I was able to reverse the edema that
I got from the catheter that was in my left arm. My tan
is already starting to disappear.

edit:
In spite of it all my collywobbles meds' really help me eat....

re-edit:
Lucky for me my Sweetie gave me a new white dress shirt that still fits for a Christmas gift last year. The neck is real comfortable now...

Message 1815493 - Posted: 7 Sep 2016, 2:05:57 UTC

Worked out today with my Trainer for the third training session of four. (Fourth is in two more days.) First, though, I got there really early today; I warmed up on the treadmill for 15 Min. and burned 75 Cal. Then I looked at the clock and found I still had 15 more to wait before my appointment started. So, I took a break and then went back to the treadmill for another 5 Min. and burned 21 more Cal. (Total of 96 Cal. burned, and I hadn't had my training session yet!)

THEN, I met with my trainer who properly kicked my butt, AGAIN!!! :-O :-) So, I came home exhausted from my 30 Min. training session. Ate leftover roasted chicken and cooked green beans. Rested for several hours; then took my shower.

I will be weighing myself this Saturday and report what I find. Short term goal for this month is to lose 8 to 10 lbs. from last reported weight of 244 lbs.

Goal weight is still 140; and I hope to be there by October or November of next year.
