Back on the grind, after every thing from 215 pounds up to 238 pounds in the last five months. I weighed in at 227 pounds this morning. Good to be back! edit: Some one asked how to be successful at weight loss, try chemo therapy! |

Some one asked how to be successful Not a method I would recommend to anyone, not even my worst enemy (if I had one). Will weigh in officially on Wednesday morning, but last time I stepped on a scale, I weighed 230. Donald Infernal Optimist / Submariner, retired |

Bought a new scale. Tried it last night, four times in as many minutes. Got results that varied by 4.5 lbs. Is it likely that my clothes, change, keys, etc. all add up to 10 lbs? The numbers last night were about that much less than the last time I went to the dr. and I don't think I've lost any since then. Bought a new scale. Tried it last night, four times in as many minutes. Got results that varied by 4.5 lbs. I was always told to account for 4-5 lbs. for clothing, NOT counting shoes. TimeLord04 Have TARDIS, will travel... Come along K-9! Join Calm Chaos |

Bought a new scale. Tried it last night, four times in as many minutes. Got results that varied by 4.5 lbs. My VA doctor's nurse used to use 4 pounds INCLUDING shoes, until I proved to her that my steel-toed work boots weighed 2 pounds apiece. Now she at least lets me take off my shoes when she weighs me. With those boots, the difference between my weight fresh out of the shower and fully clothed is about 8 pounds. Donald Infernal Optimist / Submariner, retired |

Pudgy Little Raccoon Weigh-In: 165.0 May I ask, if you consider 165 to be pudgy, what's your target? David Sitting on my butt while others boldly go, Waiting for a message from a small furry creature from Alpha Centauri. |

Pudgy Little Raccoon Weigh-In: 165.0 138. I'm short. 138 is the high end of "normal" for my height. |

Hello Friends. I am home after a week in the great state of Wisconsin, and I'm not going anywhere near that scale until I have walked off way too many waffles and way too much homemade pie. Why oh why does Eric's mother have to be such an excellent cook???!!!!!!! |

Will get back on weekly weigh-in sched on Wednesday. Ednesday 2 December - 231. Holding steady after Thanksgiving week. @Angela - I have a similar problem when I visit relatives in Wisconsin. It isn't so much they are good cooks, but the menu always includes sausage, potatoes, cheese, and beer. And the occassional Friday fish-fry. Donald Infernal Optimist / Submariner, retired |
