Julie you would look good drinking water! I need my drink in the evening to be able to unwind from the stress at work, Ian. Makes me think of a song. It says "with alcohol, your dreams are all in white".. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9Ljj2QqBzCo rOZZ Music Pictures |

I am thinking this deserves a bump. I am meeting Donald tomorrow and I am not sure, he really weighs 240lbs. Pluto will always be a planet to me. Seti Ambassador Not to late to order an Anni Shirt |

I am thinking this deserves a bump. Not sure what I weigh right now. Been trying not to make a pig of myself here at the FRA convention, but the food at the hotel is pretty good, and the snacks and sandwiches in the Hospitality Suite have been plentiful. Plus, there are no scales in hotel bathrooms, so... I'll weigh in on Wednesday. Donald Infernal Optimist / Submariner, retired |

Well, I was going to follow that good advice I got from Yahoo! Health, and wait until Wednesday morning to step on the scale, since the past two weeks have been busy and stressful and filled with heavy meals, but the darned thing whined so pitifully I could not resist ....... 239 lbs Was almost down to 230. At least I didn't break out over 240. Still about 7 weeks before I go back to work. Oh, look! There are green patches on the lawn, and they need to be mowed .... 49kg. From this day forth, I'm going on a hunger strike for peace. You should think about your kids. Honestly 49KG is not much already. Take care my dear friend. With each crime and every kindness we birth our future. |

Hello all. In two weeks this thread will be one year old. When that happens I'd like to post a short, informal recap of my weight loss efforts for the year. Where I was, where I am now, where I thought I would be, perspective, hindsights, goals for the next year and all that jazz. Would anyone care to participate ? I'd like to hear your stories. mambo |

Hello all. That's a great idea! I just started a regular walking thing in the mornings at a nice spot around the top of the Louisville Reservoir. I would say I'm probably doing about 3 miles, but I need to get my pedometer out, a new battery, and recalibrated. My walking routine at this point is really more meditative than anything else, but I imagine it will help the body as well as the mind. :~) The mind is a weird and mysterious place |

Well, it has been a year since this thread started. I did come onboard a wee bit late but I did start working on my body issues in august 2014 so the timing is bang on. I thought I would, for the thread's anniversary, write a very lenghty post about my own personal fat-loss journey. I do have lots to share. Then I re-read the thread from the beginning and decided not to proceed because I need to ask something. My skill with the english language is limited so please believe I ask this candidly out of genuine solicitude. Guys, are you all more or less at the same point you were a year ago ? mambo |

My knees and legs sometimes hurt so much, that I need to use My cane indoors, to get up and to walk, today is one of those days, how much do I weigh? I don't know, the scale doesn't have any batteries. The T1 Trust, PRR T1 Class 4-4-4-4 #5550, 1 of America's First HST's |

Guys, are you all more or less at the same point you were a year ago ? Reluctantly, yes, I am. Reviewing the thread, I started posting weigh-ins in late October. For several years I have been cycling between 220 and 240. Looking back, the range seems to have become 230-240. Don't know if that's good or bad, but my doctor wants me down close to 200. Actually weighed myself Wednesday morning, but didn't make it to the Forums until late that night. I was at 235. I have had a very stressful summer, between that and the heat, I have not gotten the consistent exercise I usually get in the summertime. I go back to work sometime in the next two weeks. We'll see how this cotton season goes. Donald Infernal Optimist / Submariner, retired |
