I did my back exercises in the morning, I took a 30 minute walk this evening and I kept my calories in check - 1153 total for the day.

My health goals for tomorrow are to replicate today.

Message 1657561 - Posted: 27 Mar 2015, 4:29:03 UTC

I did my back exercises in the morning, walked our neighbor's dog Maya in hilly terrain for a half hour and kept my calories in check - 1321 total.

Tomorrow is the day this train is likely to come off the rails. There is a family dinner party at my sister-in-law's tomorrow night to celebrate the birthday of her father. I know the birthday cake is going to be spectacular... 'cuz I'm makin' it!!! I am also baking a couple of loaves of bread for the party. To make abandoning any diet even more likely, Saturday morning we are having guests over to our house for brunch.

I need a plan to get through Friday night and Saturday morning. I know I won't have time to exercise again until Saturday afternoon after brunch, so I'm just going to focus on not over-eating tomorrow.

One day at a time...

My health goals for tomorrow are:

1. Keep breakfast in the 300 calorie range and lunch in the 400 calorie range, which should give me some "wiggle room" to enjoy the birthday party
2. At the birthday party, have a mineral water or a club soda instead of a cocktail
3. Don't eat any store bought appetizers. They are not worth the calories!!! If there are homemade appetizers, don't eat more than one of anything that is just too tempting to resist.
4. No seconds on ANY dinner items, especially the bread - only go through the buffet line once
5. Continue to sip mineral water through dinner instead of having a glass of wine
6. Do not eat a big piece of birthday cake - keep it in the small-medium range

I'll worry about getting through Saturday tomorrow night.

No treats, no snacks, no ice cream, no sugar, no salt,
none of LSM's baking, no.....

But it is working so far......

edit:
Julie tell this to your doctor....

I did, she told me nothing is wrong with me, my blood is perfect. I really don't understand what's going on. I keep on having those bruises as well.

They were empathic pains... For some reason the water supply for the hamster didn't work properly so he didn't have any water for 5 days, we didn't notice anything until last night he fainted. We gave him water after which he drank for an whole hour. I don't have any stomach ache anymore when I eat now, amazing innit:)

5/6 goals for today met. I had a larger piece of birthday cake than I needed to have, but I followed the rest of the plan to the letter, with an estimated intake of 1694 calories today, which isn't bad for a family party day.

My health goals for tomorrow are:

1. Only one mimosa with brunch
2. No seconds on any brunch foods
3. Do back exercises after guests leave
4. Do something aerobic after guests leave
5. Cook something healthy for dinner

I am so hungry right now that I
want to raid the fridge, or eat
all the Brie, or perhaps start in
on this computer if I can!
Arrrrggggggg!

I'll try to wait until breakfast.....

(I feel much better now, thank you.)

Lucky for my diet, I can't open the Brie and reseal it with
out LSM knowing that I did it. Dumb old me made a promise to
her that I would not snack. I did it because I knew that if I made
the promise, then I would be bound by my personal honor not
to break it. Man, some times I am so slow.....

2. Get some exercise by starting to put in my vegetable garden
3. Keep calories under 1500

Gardening is a wonderful task.
I have the room for it in my back yard, but not the backbone...LOL.
The only plan I have for when the weather allows is to plant some catnip seeds this spring......

Meownip.
